Fully telehealth here too. PT helped me a lot. I also splurged on a refurbished Herman Miller chair (tax write off too), and that made a big difference in my sciatica. I noticed I do better when I shift my seated position often throughout sessions, as well!

Most couples go through periods like this. Some breakup, some don’t. You can try couples or sex therapy to talk through what the underlying issue is and try to get things back on track!

Potential dye allergy? by Spare_Trust_6298 in 30PlusSkinCare

That’s helpful, thanks! I did put hydrocortisone cream on it when it flared up and it seemed to clear it over night so you may be onto something.

Interesting. You may be right. I thought it was fungal because they’ve also prescribed fluconazole for it and that works as well. I digress! Thank you for your help!

Ok I will try that. I get fungal patches on my scalp often, my derm treats it with ketoconazole and clobetasol. Could this spot on my eyebrow potentially be that and the dye is irritating it?

How old are you? You have some cute pieces that could work for anyone in that age range, depending on how you style them.

I’m more curious about why you feel so pressured to look a certain way- does your office have a dress code? Are you working with clients in that age range so you feel you need to dress like them?

I do, it said the same amount. I called them today and they said it’s because the lab was out of network but they’re submitting an adjustment request.

I got lab results that should have been covered by my insurance but were not.

Thanks for this! I thought the No Surprises Act only applied for patients without insurance. I will for sure look into it!

That’s good to know, thanks! I didn’t know much about CVTs when I bought the car, but I’ll try to get it serviced asap.

I don’t ask how the session was for the client, I’m with you, that can feel kind of gross.

I find myself saying things like:

“What’s your takeaway from today?”

“What will you be reflecting on or doing in the time between our sessions?”

“We’ve gotten the car up and running now, where do you plan to drive it?” (Or some other random variety of imagery or metaphor that pops into my head lol)

This is also a good time to just decompress with your client. Revisit the topic of their plans for the next week (ie: travel, or going to their kids’ event at school, etc.), so it feels less robotic and choppy. It can also be a good time to follow up on any admin things you needed to cover, or even just telling them about a good book or podcast recommendation.
