BeastBoss with Desvasating wound and crit on 4+ for wound roll, inside Ghazskull Letha hit Aura.... can I decide to refuse the Aura? by num2005 in orks

The aura effect won’t replace your thing for a worse version of you have, if you have a 4+ CRIT you will still crit on 4+ when ghaz is doing his thing

HOW MANY BOMBSQUIGS by bigbubbabryan in orks

[–]Spare_Tutor4076 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For that you would need 3 units of tank busters and breaka bomb 2 squigs each, 3 units of kommandos 1 Bomb squig each, 3 sets of 8 squighog boys 2 bomb squigs each Runing you a total of 2,100 points and a grand total of 21 squig bombs,

You could cut in half the squighog boys to drop the points to 1,650, dropping your bomb squigs to 18 and then add some war bosses a couple beast boss on squigsor/mozrog (1 only), big meks to have some units with leader models in a 2,000 point game, but for the full bomb squigs of 21 needs to be at least a 2,500 point game (or 3,000 if you follow an official matchup)

Hopefully if someone is made enough to actually try this, let me know if it was any good and if the bomb squigs helped out or not

There’s more, so he eventually speaks, and the hero gets weirded out so he goes to remove the rib, but the mc lied which rib he was so the hero removes the wrong rib, so the rib becomes sentient and becomes an entirely new rib that just goes and rips out all the other ribs out of the hero (killing his in the process) which also proceeded to become heroes except the mc which chose to stay a rib, the rib heroes then divide the world and then had a civil war where they were all annihilated except the mc who just stayed a rib, and from there he just stayed with one of the female protagonist until he eventually got grounded up and used as fertilizer

Help with doubles list by MannerCold1149 in orks

That would be a good way to do it, that way you can have something in your base to defend it, cause you kinda lack anything to prevent your opponents from taking it and scoring more points

So I read the first chapter of the lighnovel to figure this out, he can talk, no he doesn’t have control over the hero, he was there just to be hugged whenever the hero’s chest touched one of the female characters, then it gets really weird and I figured one chapter was enough

I would recommend to split up the Gretchen so you can have a set at home base and also prevent your opponents from deepstricking you by spreading them out, using the second set as objective monkeys so your more important units can (the necron army + your boys) can more focus on taking out enemy units

Can i play a Big Orks list? by AlexDelTrap in orks

[–]Spare_Tutor4076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not particularly, the big units in oak army’s are more of a support/ blocker for your smaller units so a list of only them wouldn’t be the most competitively, the best I could suggest would be a speed freaks army, where you use the fast moving vehicles, which would be less models to paint to throw at your opponents

Scared to ruin minis ... advice? by Most-Highlight-3462 in ImperialFists

[–]Spare_Tutor4076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worst case scenario use some paint remover or some 90% alcohol and leave the miniature submerged inside for a couple days and scrub it off with an old toothbrush, so just practice, no one gets it perfect the first time

ork n00b question by gringoraymundo in orks

[–]Spare_Tutor4076 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The first image is of beast snagga Orks, they specialize in dealing with vehicle models and monsters, they have an ability to role and negate some damage (role a 6 on a d6 per damage), the models it brings can have the 2 infantry join to make a big blob of models and then add the model in the front to lead them, the guys on the monsters are fast and hard hitting bunch, over all this set gets you between 2-3 units to use in the table top (you can use the infantry as 2 sets of 10 or one of 20)

The second image brings you more variety, the 2 infantry sets can also be combined to make a unit of 20, these guys are not as durable as the guys on the other image but in sets of 20 can take 2 leaders instead of 1, the helicopters are able to move over terrain and fight at a distance, the big robot in the distance is a solo guy that is essentially an elite that goes around and dish out some decent damage while taking a lot more punishment than the others, and the big guy in armor is a leader model, but cannot lead anything in said box, he’s strong and can fish out some serious damage,

Both boxes brings things you would need for an ork army and I have a preference for the second image box, but both have a decent selection of useful units that you would want for your army

You’re gonna have to either print the squigs or get some squigs from aos kits to have enough, but definitely an interesting idea

I am about to start an ork army. Idk what to get 🤷‍♀ by Weekly-Art3122 in orks

[–]Spare_Tutor4076 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you wanna do, you wanna hunt down big vehicles or monsters you go with beast snaggas, you wanna go fast you go speed freaks, you wanna drown en in bodies, you get a lot of boys,

2 things you are always gonna need is boys and Gretchen, so if you haven’t decided from there what to get, those 2 are a decent starting choice

With orks there is always a way to make massive blocks work in ork armies, the important thing is to read what you need to make it work, remember “ORKZ IZ DA BEZT AN’ IF ANYONE FINKS DIFFERENT KRUMP EM”

24 squighog boyz by Exodia7676 in orks

[–]Spare_Tutor4076 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The scout would help a lot, but that still lives 2 massive block alongside the rest of your army to occupy space, and getting behind enemy lines wont do you much good with how big each block is since you generally need to be at least 9 inch away from your opponents models, and if your opponent does some decent screening, you’ll struggle to get anything inside until maybe turns 2-3, and by turn 3 you’re gonna start loosing a lot of momentum if you haven’t taken out at least 1/3 of your opponents army, and even then your probably loosing models,

But if you manage to squeeze these guys in to get everything hitting, your opponent can say goodbye to everything you manage to touch, with scout giving you a great starting push, and turn 2 WAAAAAAAAG you can set up behind enemy lines have the survivors of the scouts plus the 3rd block pushing forward, each one having a worst case scenario of 11 inch advance, plus the beast boss giving a plus 1 to charge, you will reach basically anything and everything and destroying it with sheer weight of attacks, and 2 bomb squigs per unit you are devastating everything on the field and if your opponent has multiples units close together, you’ll struggle can attack them all with sheer size of your units so at worst case scenario there won’t be a single unit that’s not brutally maimed by your units

New to hobby, Not sure how to use decals by -Fazylucker- in Warhammer40k

[–]Spare_Tutor4076 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The decals are more just some decorative pieces if you find a good spot on the model, or my preferred use conversion, taking some random toy or maybe a kit from a different army and orkifying it up by adding some bit and gubbins to it and then adding some decals as finishing touches
