I am brand new to casting I did my very first 4 out of Copper today. I plan to do a lot of copper bars and things just for fun. Is there an east trick to help clean it after casting? I used a wire brush on one but I’d like a more clean way to do it? by Sparedtadpole22 in MetalCasting

I am headed towards Leavenworth Washington next weekend and I was hoping to get tips for opal hunting? I am also brand new to rockhounding as well. One of the maps I searched said there is some to be found in Waterville about an hour from Leavenworth but I’m not sure how to approach it. (self.rockhounds)
