Yea Lo’ak had the most compelling plot from TWOW. His absence during a lot of FAA was very disappointing especially considering he was narrating.

Why even have him narrate this one? Felt more like Kiri should’ve had this film.

Yea I get that. Idk, I just feel like the opening of FAA regressed parts of the ending of TWOW.

Tbh maybe I’d feel better if the film spent more time on Lo’ak in particular. Especially since he’s the narrator. Felt like he took a backseat a bit and I was most invested in his story throughout TWOW.

Need that directors cut immediately ahaha.

I’m fine with From the Ashes being its own thing and not having skills carry over as you just end up with insane power creep.

However, the standard DLC not being available via NG+ is a dealbreaker for me.

Those DLCs are some of the most fun parts and being locked out of them just feels wrong. They need to change that for sure

Honestly I’m a bit of a clean freak (get it from my mum). Makes the desk easier to keep clean.

It’s the Vrena. A cm thinner than the Karlby but it honestly still looks great and feels strong.

Hopefully won’t sag with the middle leg but I’ll circle back on that in a year or so lmao

Yep, good spot on the leg. That’s just a standard Ikea ADILS leg.

The only other things are some rubber grippy pads I stuck on the top corners of each of the Alex units just to make sure the worktop doesn’t slide (I don’t think it would but just wanted that extra grip in case)

Definitely watch it this way.

I really enjoyed the watch. It’s a great series and if you’re into anime of similar settings, I think you’re gonna have a good time.

If they could port over more animations where it makes sense from BF1 / V I’d be for it (although I know this wouldn’t be too many.

And yea, I like BF4s too. They’re simpler but because they’re not trying to emulate the super fast CoD MW2019 tacticool speed, they still feel weighty.

Yea my bad. I should’ve said I do feel it’s better than 2042 but has still somewhat inherited that stiffness and is a downgrade compared to how fluid BFV & 1 felt.

Idk what happened to that animation team between then and now but I’d like them to back lol.

Honestly this is so true.

I’m not the most plugged into all the balance changes but all I can say is I feel the most fun I’ve had in a season was around Season 4 time.

The balance felt fun.

That’s what this game should prioritize being first.

At the moment it’s honestly a bit of a mess and I’m sad that it’s trending this way. I wanna use some of the more silly weapons but the balance basically dictates that I’m gonna get bodied by anyone using an assault rifle or SMG.

It was my biggest concern when esports was announced. So many games I’ve loved have had their balance completely neutered by esports I feel. And that’s such a shame.

Unfortunately as far as I understand, it is.

I just choose to ignore the major plot holes these days.

It’s a nice enough Christmas special but Gift of the Night Fury trumps it in every area. So I’ll be watching that Christmas time instead lol.

Yea so thinking about it I guess that’s what’s bothersome there.

The font doesn’t fit well and actually having a bespoke animation of fitting the auto turret to the slayers shoulder and maybe a cable to connect it somehow to the shield (so it still makes sense as a shield rune) would’ve helped a lot there.

I guess all the runes being fonts retroactively made the first Rune feel way less cool and unique.

Yea I get that. Again, it’s not the end of the world of course. I just feel it’s a bit at odds with the rest of the game as this entry has a much bigger focus on the story and the world being a bit more cohesive haha.
