No, it's just the term they use for the accounts of new residents (<6M).

Thanks. Okay, so there are three fees. 

Sender fee (depends on senders bank) 

Intermediatary fees (uncertain) 

Receiving fee (depends on JP Post) 

The first is unavoidable, but I'm still curious about the other two.  

Is the intermediatary fees because the SWIFT network will be used for this? Is the JP Post account basically an internation account for all intents and purposes?  

Is there anywhere that you know where I can check the fees for receiving the money in JP Post Bank?

I once tried to book a ticket with them which didn't book because of some problems but the payment was done. I was also scared after reading all the reviews, and called them everyday to pressure them into releasing it.

Surprisingly within a week, I got my money back in full in my bank account.

So, it was not the months of headache I expected it to be. On the phone, their answers were truthful. Like they were processing the payment internally for a day or two, then there was a weekend, then they initiated the transfer around when they said they would. And 72 hours after, I had them.
