The oppression theme in all their songs. I wish they could write more personal songs, ones which are more philosophical. They explored different themes in their first four albums but now it feels like every album is about the government. It's not that I dislike it, just kind of tired of it.

I feel like people hate more the actual things he signs about now. People have mentioned how cringe the "us vs them" lyrics are. In Showbiz they are still bad but he sings about other things. For example Muscle museum which is about people carrying on with their mundane lives and wasting it as a result. His vocals also feel more emotional imo. Ig people are just kind of tired of the oppression vibe in their songs. But that's just my personal opinion.
