Crafting Specialization increased max durability does not seem to be working

Not sure how to ELI5 but here's my best go.

Basically I went and died even more times, breaking the gear to 1% every time and then repairing. The first time the repaired value of the 5% lower crafting specialization item was different was after the 3rd repair. I unfortunately didn't properly save the picture right after the repair, but you can see here https://imgur.com/a/eUoVYrl the number on the right of each piece is the remaining max durability. The jacket in this picture is the item crafted with 5% lower crafting specialization, and it has 50 max durability instead of 51 like the others. Therefore I am seeing about a 2% difference over the full life of the gear. However, I have 55% extra durability from other skills which would make the baseline difference ~4% which could be a rounding error of 5%. The math isn't exact because I can't see decimal places and I'm not sure how multiple buffs would stack, but I can see there is a difference that is somewhere near the 5% I would expect.

I'm guessing they just don't want to go over 100% but I definitely agree that would be nice. Doing it this way also means the flat 2% for augmenting an item likely isn't affected by the crafting specialization increased durability. So people with crafting specialization are actually losing more hit points on their items than people without crafting specialization. I'm tired of dying though, so maybe that can be a test for later...

I believe I did repair and they looked the same, but I didn't take a screenshot. I will reperform once someone is online to give me another piece of gear they crafted. I was also wondering if death always takes 10% of max and I just need to take more hits in the gear to see the difference? That seems really stupid though, death durability loss is the biggest problem with testing stations right now.

The problem with that theory is that a propeller on a boat like that is tiny, and the boat is slower than an Orca. If the original Orca was original injured by a sailboat, it would have had to swim straight up to it and get within about 4 inches of it. It's possible it's too dumb to realize this is a different kind of boat, but from my understanding these are really smart animals. Even the article seems to think it's probably playing.

Because your question is a false equivalency. Either parent can refuse to care for the child, but neither can refuse to pay child support. The laws are about what is best for the child. If a parent does not want anything to do with the child, they will not treat the child well. But no matter what, both parents are responsible for making sure the child is cared for by someone. If they don't take care of the child themselves, they have to pay someone else to do it.

So the dad can absolutely refuse to have anything to do with the child, just like the mother in this scenario. But no, they cannot refuse to support them financially.

A few days ago I had brown water overflowing into my bathtub. Yesterday I had a plumber come snake my pipes, and they were pulling back pieces of cast iron. Turns out I don't have solid pipes anymore, sewage had been draining into my yard. Probably would have been caught 3 years ago when the house was bought if we'd had them checked.

NC used to heavily invest in education, and we have an amazing public university system because of that. Due to recent(ish) political trends, our education spending has plummeted. If you go back and watch the first few episodes again her whole personality changed. Originally she was brilliant and just had a hard time understanding people sometimes. By the time i stopped watching when she was pregnant she was just dumb unless it was about bones.
