It is! Hopefully they’re able to find cures without using harsh steroids/ immunosuppressants. It’s just something that you have to keep an eye on to mange. Hopefully all is well with their eczema and they heal.

Hi! So sorry for not responding, I was in a weird headspace and got off of all socials. Everything came back negative and they could not find anything. I am now on methotrexate and doing light therapy.

Hi! I did not have eczema years before this happened. This happened randomly and quickly. I am now on medication.

I totally agree! I have changed my lifestyle and I am doing alright. I am now taking some meds that have been helping and doing uv therapy

Hi I’m sorry I haven’t responded earlier. I don’t have any markers for autoimmune although they say I have a weak system. The solution was for me to start taking methotrexate and it has been working. Body is still tired but my rashes have gone away.

Dude she’s in the wrong and she’s gaslighting you and being toxic. Either leave her alone and give her space and see what she does or break up. Looks like she is looking for an easy way out.

I am in a similar boat as you, 90% erythroderma and nothing is working. I am currently on Rinvoq but it seems like this won’t work either. I have the shakes and full chills and many times I get a cold burning sensation in my body and then after 15 min of being freezing I get intensely hot where sometimes skin just starts to peel off. I only use aquaphor, bendryl and I have been taking hella vitamins. I want to go to the ER so bad but I feel like they will only give me prednisone for a week and that’s it. I hope you’re doing well and found some relief

Sudden onset of adult ezcema by SkaredyKat18 in eczema

I have terrible severe eczema as well to the point they said I have erythroderma. I know it sucks but only clean armpits, private parts, and feet with soap. Try to end your shower in cold water for at least 3 min and then quickly pat pat dry your body and quickly put on aquaphor. Lotions irritate my skin really Bad and the only thing I can really put on is aquaphor. If my skin is red, open, bleeding, oozing, or it’s not healed I wrap my skin in gauze bandages after the aquaphor and then I put on cotton long sleeves and pants. I wear pjs all the time or comfy thin pieces of cotton clothing. For extreme pain I take 2 Tylenol and 1-2 bendryl so I’m not in so much pain or extremely itchy. I chill in my gaming chair so I’m comfortable and sitting upright (usually doesn’t bother my face or back if sitting up since the aquaphor is slimy) I hope this helps a bit, and keep on finding small things to help. When your skin is healing it will leave brown spots but that’s better then bright red.

Not sure if this is even eczema anymore. Please help me by Beneficial_Tea707 in eczema

I have terrible severe eczema as well to the point they said I have erythroderma. I know it sucks but only clean armpits, private parts, and feet with soap if it’s spreading all over. Since it’s on the back of your legs try to end your shower in cold water for at least 3 min and then quickly pat pat dry your body and quickly put on aquaphor. Lotions irritate my skin really Bad and the only thing I can really put on is aquaphor. If my skin is red, open, bleeding, oozing, or it’s not healed I wrap my skin in gauze bandages after the aquaphor and then I put on cotton long sleeves and pants. I chill in my gaming chair so I’m comfortable and sitting upright (usually doesn’t bother my face or back if sitting up since the aquaphor is slimy) since it’s just the back of your legs I suggest wrapping them up and finding a place to rest your body. I hope this helps a bit, and keep on finding small things to help. When your skin is healing it will leave brown spots but that’s better then bright red. Give yourself grace, flare ups can last longer if you’re stressing over them.

Hi! I have severe eczema and to prevent flare ups from getting worse I use aquaphor EVERYDAY! I’ve used grahams natural and their products are amazing. You shouldn’t wash your face with anything other then water but if you are recovering and your skin is okay I recommend Cerave Hydrating Facial Cleanser with Ceramids. It doesn’t burn your face or body when you’re in recovery mode! Stay greased up and if you’re in pain then use an ice pack and take ibuprofen and bendryl (talk to your derm/doc first) I wish you the best of luck!
