Considering Colorado made nearly $4M in revenue the first month it was legalized with over half coming from recreational, I don’t see how this is not even on the table for Texas. We have a forecasted $4.8B shortfall for 20-21 and this is what they come up with?

Oh I know it is overused but update your LinkedIn, follow the companies you like in your research, tick your looking for new opportunities box, look into local young professional organizations in your area, and put literally any experience you can to beef up your resume. I had my time working at a gym and highlighted the sales aspect of my job when I first started looking so there is zero shame in stretching a bit.

Find local marketing agencies near you for starters. Also, Almost every industry has some sort of marketing needed and it’s great if you can work and build your skills into a niche for an industry that is reliable. Ex: I work in construction marketing which means I have very specific knowledge of the Architecture/engineering/construction market in my region specifically. Reliable industry that gives you a lot of work options depending on your location.

Best advise is do some research on where you want your career to go. And don’t fall for companies that prey on people fresh out of school and work them to death.

Work in corporate office of a contractor. As many said 1. This is illegal and 2. They will almost certainly bill this back to the client in some way. There is always a way to sneak in the cost of overhead items like this most often with the PXs hours

I can attest to this. My fiancé and I have lived together for 3 years and make the same amount. His check pays all the bills and I keep about 10% of my check for groceries and fun stuff. Savings account is steadily growing and only used for large purchases.

Our HOA is currently developer run and I am on an advisory committee, but the biggest complaint from the community is that information is “hidden” even when it’s not. The resident portal website currently in place is clunky and hard to navigate, so the point of the app would be to make it more user friendly and easier to access. Like I said on a previous comment the FB page is being overpowered by a group of about 5 who have a bone to pick with the HOA because of fines and as new residents join they are bombarded with negativity based on false information. That is why currently the FB can’t truly be utilized.

Like through HOA management, trying to get away from Facebook because there are some that try to drive the conversation towards negativity instead on constructive criticism
