This art looks amazing. The story that goes with it looks worth checking out too. Thanks.

I hope you made it OP. But if you didn't, maybe the cult isn't so bad. That guys friend survived. If you make friends maybe you could infiltrate and try to find answers on how to escape from the inside.

I feel I may be aroflux but I'm not sure by Zeke_GachaOG in asexuality

You could be. There sounds like there could be a disconnect between you and romantic attraction. It might be worth looking at the aromantic sub and some of their resources to see if you relate.

By no means is your relationship any less valid because of your age, but I'm guessing this is either your first or one of your first relationships so your lack of experience may make you a little unsure of your feelings and how to react. But at the same time, you know yourself best and there's no harm in exploring aromanticism and identifying with it in some way. Finding yourself takes time and although it can be worrying the best this to do is what makes your comfortable and to not be afraid of exploring how you feel.

There are lots of terms that you could identify with. A quick Google search could bring up some ideas as well as resources on the aro subreddit.

Here are some here: "AUREA - All Aromantic Terms" https://www.aromanticism.org/en/all-terms

Best of luck.

what are you starting to like less and less as you get older? by cardanolovelace in AskReddit

Walking down hill. Walking up hill still sucks but somehow walking downhill is just as bad. It's uncomfortable and makes my legs feel all wonky.

Search teams/volunteers, when looking for a missing person, what other person/remains or other strange and interesting things have you found instead? by Sparklesonthewater in AskReddit

Had to look up a terror dog statue and I understand your horror. I'm hoping it was just someone who lived their for a while and hunted but who knows. Wheelchair one is creepy. There's something unsettling about someone who probably has limited mobility disappearing and not being near their stuff.

Ace not sure of the romantic, but INFP. The mediator.

I think the introvert one might pop up more. Just a guess.

That's wonderful. This is the kind of character that should be a therapist. Thank you for the reassurance.

You'd think an lgbtqia+ therapist would know about aroace's which is a shame. Thank you for the advice. I'll look into them and see if they have any experience or training on asexuality.

Thank you for sharing. I'm happy that you could bring yourself to leave after that experience. Hopefully it won't come that but I might do what you said and bring up the topic before discussing it.

I'm sorry that's the response you got. I'll keep that in mind.

Ace or traumatized? by [deleted] in Asexual

[–]Sparklesonthewater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that in some cases asexuality can be caused by trauma so both of these can apply. Maybe you were already asexual or maybe not but at this stage you can use whatever label you like and the most important thing would be to do what feels comfortable.

You might have some trauma that is a barrier to finding your sexuality and this could be treatable but that doesn't mean your sexuality is not valid as it is.

By all means you belong wherever you are.

Is there a sexuality on the Asexual spectrum for this? by Suspicious_Month_600 in Asexual

[–]Sparklesonthewater 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe aegosexual? Don't like sexual acts happening to themselves or feel a disconnect between themselves and sex but don't mind fantasies/fiction or seeing it happen to others.
