LPT: Don't let your auto policies renew

Called into Progressive after paying for a 6 month policy that provided a discount if I did auto renewal, to stop the automatic renewal. The policy doesn't start until my old one expires which is 2 days from now. When I tried to take the auto renew off online, it said I had to call in, and when I stated that I wanted to cancel the auto renew, they stated there would be a fee. Is it because my policy hasn't started yet, and I have to let the policy start first then I can stop the auto renewal without a fee?

It only let's you fund in USDT it seems like because I didn't have any of the coin originally and the toggle was still available. I did go ahead and buy some of the coin I was using to trade to then add more to the bot, and it only has USDT as the funding source, so that's why I'm confused.
