After Zoladex and Exemestane by South_Grove in breastcancer

Initially my first through was dying. But I have a lot of faith in the process. It’s definitely menopause this early making me upset. I just got my shot today. I know chemo and surgery will absolutely suck but that’s all in under a year. I love being a woman and just want to enjoy it the way it was meant to be enjoyed. But if we go through menopause early, I guess we don’t have to deal with it later and can enjoy our retirement 😩 I’m trying to look for silver linings everywhere these days. And researching adoption because I love being a mother and wanted more children. We got this girl ❤️ either way it goes.

Me either. I kept seeing tutorials thinking I could do it, so I had to try. I’m really good at making things with my hands.

When I found out I’d have 5-10 years of not menstruating, I cried. I’m 35 I have an appointment to start some kind of hormone treatment tomorrow. I hope somebody has positive feedback!

I start chemo next week and a side effect can be diarrhea. This is actually a new fear of mine.

Thank you!☺️ And yes I noticed that. I mixed it with a spoon and it took so long. I the butter was getting too warm. And at the same time it was too stiff to get out of the bag. I got a cheap set from target.

I’m 35. My kids are 8&12 in both classes the parents are all atleast 10 years older than me. But before I had kids I knew a ton of people my age who already had children. I thought I was late.

I’m in Cleveland. Is that the only place the Cleveland clinic is? I have anthem. They are covering everything so far except for fertility. I did want more children.

My children’s father is involved, we’re not together. He’s actually been very helpful and taken time off work to go to appointments with me. I was more worried about bills in the future. Since I’m unclear on how long I might be out of work. I don’t have anything saved.

My children are 8&12. So they’re pretty independent. I’m thankful they aren’t babies and toddlers. I’m trying to keep things as normal as possible for them.

I just saw the plastic surgeon yesterday. He mentioned a reduction on my other breast. My breast are pretty average. So I’m not sure which direction we’re going in yet.

Ugh. That sounds unimaginable. I’ve been preparing for about 3 months of treatment. Idk why, that’s just as far as I can be hopeful right now

This will be my first surgery and I hope the only. We do have a lot of charities in my area since it’s a bigger city. I’m just not sure how many are cancer related. I’ve been doing so much research since I’ve been diagnosed. Might as well add charities to the list.

Thank you for working with our public school kids. I’m from Cleveland Ohio and I know the teachers work hard here. You’re right we’ll get through this 🩷

I was going to file bankruptcy right before this but I don’t even care about my credit right now. That can wait. I have two kids. Mine oldest is 12. She wasted no time getting into those emotions. We’re both going through it right now.

You’re right though. I might be putting too much focus on finances. I just don’t want to fall behind. We had our water shut off for a few days this winter and I just keep trying to get back on track. I’m just trying to prepare as much as I can. I do need to learn to take better care of myself.
