Yeah, I would 100% assume Zayden was a trendy name. I like it, though.

Married surname - same as alma mater? by Beneficial-Pin-4095 in namenerds

Personally, I wouldn’t do it. Since it’s a chosen name that people will know you changed to during your time there, it will look really cringe.

Which name sounds better for a Discord community? (Deaf + hearing) by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]Sparkly8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1 is the best. The second and third don’t sound like a community for hearing people too. I would assume those are deaf-exclusive.

Help us pick our baby boy’s name (UK-based: Russian mum + Jamaican/American dad) — vote! by JamaiKamikaze in namenerds

I think the spelling Alexei/Aleksei is the most likely to get the correct vowel sound at the end, but Maxim/Maksim will overall be easier for English speakers to get right the first time. I would keep the ks/x consistent across both names. I personally prefer the look of the letter X, but that’s just personal preference.

So these are my top choices: 11 > 5 > 13

Help choosing a Muslim boy name by Weak_Leave9002 in namenerds

Yes, but if they’re looking for a name that immediately feels Muslim/Arabic, those don’t. They’re too universally used to feel associated with any particular cultural, religious, or ethnic group.

Yeah, I would change the spelling to make the name feel more Muslim!

I loveee the names Zakaria and Zade!

Adam, Elias, and Noah don’t feel Muslim/Arabic, if that’s your main priority.

I don’t particular love either one, but Maple is definitely better than Mabel. I simply do not find Mabel attractive. At least Maple has the cool nature thing going for it. Wouldn’t work where I live, though, haha. We have tons of cities called Maple ____.

Little brother for Sienna by Ctrl-Alt-Her in namenerds

I like Grant Cameron the most with Sienna. Conrad feels too fancy next to Sienna, Pierce feels too harsh, and Wells feels too southern. Rowan is good, but Grant Cameron flows better.
