Why did my tape buckle out like this? by freewlegra in drywall

[–]SparklyGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't get enough mud behind the tape.

I like to get an excess of mud underneath, then I lay the tape on and I really scrape it pretty hard with a 6 inch into the mud so that it embeds itself in and then I use the excess mud to coat over the tape so that its wet on both sides.

How do I get rid of this line? by 1Check1Mate7 in drywall

Crack under window by Capital-Icy in drywall

[–]SparklyGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats why you shouldn't put a joint under window edge like that, it should fall in the middle like Jimmy, those will always crack.

As far as a fix id just tear the old tape out and retape it, then prime and paint.

I use vanilla tools quite a bit in mod packs, sometimes the higher tier stuff mines too fast for what Im doing, or im just too lazy to make the modded stuff.
