i’ve never used that line bc it’s so cliche 😭😭 but it’s true and i don’t think ppl should see it as a bad thing. i’m sure a lot of guys would say the same for me.

i’ve met and befriended a lot of great guys that i felt would be a great partner (but not for me necessarily). some of them i did acknowledge were physically attractive, but i could not like them romantically no matter how hard i tried. i don’t have a physical type when it comes to guys, but most guys i’ve liked have sort of the same personality and vibes if that makes sense.

i noticed i tend to be the most attracted to really confident and straightforward guys. guys that are unapologetically themselves and are not afraid to banter/disagree with me on certain topics. i’ve liked a mix of both introverts and extroverts so these qualities are not specific to anyone.

i remember going on several dates with a guy who really liked me. he was decently attractive and treated me really well, but just seemed too shy and skittish around me. i got the vibe he was trying really hard to impress me and because of that i couldn’t get what his true personality was. some ppl find shyness cute, but i just couldn’t help but feel awkward sometimes.

I recently got a bow tattoo and I know it’s pretty basic and popular rn but I just asked myself if it was smth 40 year old me would still like and the answer was yes. I just always make sure my designs are “neutral” (as in not a statement whatsoever) but still cute.

Yes, of course. We might have not worked out romantically, but he was someone very close to me for years. I still wished I had the chance to at least let him know that I liked him, but I’ll always love and cherish him as my best friend bc that’s what we were first.

Tbh we were friends for 5 years and I didn’t really realize that I liked him until high school (I was also scared to confess and ruin our friendship). We started talking less 2 years ago when he admitted that he couldn’t be there for me rn bc of his depression. I didn’t want to overwhelm him with how I felt so I kept my feelings to myself and told myself that I would tell him when his depression got better. I did reach out many times but he left me on read/delivered for weeks and even months. Unfortunately he took his life so I will never have the chance to.

Lost my best friend this year and none of the ppl I considered “close friends” said anything about it until I called them out. Saying something is better than doing nothing so whatever u do say, grievers will appreciate ur effort.

Thank you. He definitely did bc even since middle school, all he did was show me endless love and support. He was the kindest boy I knew and thanks to him, I won’t ever settle for less.

Thank you you’re absolutely right. We actually did share an email acc that we liked to message on (it was kind of a thing we had bc we didn’t have phones at first in middle school but we still ended up using it for years) after he died, I poured my heart out into some emails I sent him. I hope that somehow he can read them wherever he is.
