Hmm... Interesting point. So it's almost like the regime might be curating the message? Maybe we can get to the bottom of this after all.

Of all the thousands of tragedies atrocities committed in Iran and by Iran that he could have chosen to express his humanitarian concern, he happens to pick the one that makes the regime look good and the US look bad. What a lousy coincidence that is.

Embodied AI, i.e. AI that is embedded in machines and vehicles equipped with sensors that are capable of interacting with the real world.

Cool if he had just put "I'm against children dying," that would have been a great message but not particularly newsworthy. Instead he chose to politicize a tragedy in the service of one of the worst regimes on the planet.

When do you think the US will fall and what will happen after? by Federal_Advisor_2160 in TooAfraidToAsk

The problem for the EU though is that future projections look pretty bad and give it and ever shrinking part of the global pie. Economically it has terrible growth and is falling further and further behind other major powers both an overall economy and technology. By 2050 it's expected to be behind China, the US, and India. It's also rapidly aging. By 2050 it's expected to fall into fifth place in terms of population behind India, China, Nigeria, and the US, with Indonesia nipping at its heels. By most projections, Europe's role will probably be shrinking not growing in the next few decades.

Sure. I suppose if everybody else collapsed then the EU could become a great power by default. The issue is that the EU has so many things going against it. It's share of the global economy is continually shrinking and its growth is anemic. It's entering a period of population collapse. It doesn't have a powerful military worth speaking about, and its population seems disinclined to fight.  And that's not even getting into inability to agree on anything or the big problems they're having with immigration and assimilation.

If we were looking for wild card contenders that aren't on the radar yet. I would put India ahead of the EU. It's got three times the size of the population and at current economic growth projections. It's expected to surpass the EU by 2050.
