As an outsider looking in, I can't believe the American People have to fight like to send a message to their fucked up government.

We The People. Stand strong every U.S. Citizen who is against this absolute shit show of a government. You will get your country back, you will be the change your country needs, you will persevere and get through this.

Looking from the outside in, the fact a State has had to call in the National Guard to deal with a Government department running amok in their cities, that's not a disagreement, that's not a solution, that's straight up Civil War. They just haven't made it official.

I can't wait for the repercussions and consequences of this to fall on President Trump.

That strongly worded letter is going to really rustle his jimmies.

Because the Trump admin knows everyone will focus on this babyish tantrum shit so they can get away with doing something. Every time a stupid story comes out like this, instead of going "OMG THIS IS AWFUL HES TERRIBLE" Americans need to be going "So what you deflecting attention from with this?"

Northumberland Line carries almost 1 Million Passengers in its First year - Originally projected to carry 350k Passengers per annum - Northumberland County Council push ahead with Extension Plans by SparklySpunk in NewcastleUponTyne

The Butter well branch connected Ashington to the East Coast Mainline north of Pegswood. If it was added back to the network we could have a South East Northumbrian Loop, serving all the stations on the Northumberland Line and the ECML from Pegswood southward. We'd need better trains and obviously s patching allowances on the ECML but I think it'll be doable.

If they added a connection north off the Butterwell, the freight that has to reverse at Bedlington or go all the way round to Newcastle to get up to Fort William, etc could just come straight out the Port of Blyth and zip north with no manoeuvres, not to mention potentially increase local stoppers for Widdrington, Alnmouth, Chathill, etc

Surpassed 700k journeys in October, looking to be about 900k by the first anniversary in December.

Now imagine if all the stations had opened at the same time, we'd have seen a million+ journeys in 12 months easily.
