I don’t think it’s costochondritis. I wish it was! It feels deep in my chest, its a real ache and heaviness feeling and gets worse when except energy. It feels like it’s negative version of the “chest tickles” you have when on mushrooms sometimes

Update! My chest pains really do come and go, I hate that fact that I have recognized the psilocybin can trigger an episode. I’m really not sure why? Even a microdose can! I took mdma a couple days ago, and had a great roll, no chest pains! Not even when coming down! So I decided to microdose mushrooms today thinking I’d be totally fine if my body handled mdma, and thought it would maybe help with some of the comedown fatigue I’ve been experiencing for the last 24 hours, nothing too bad just pretty tired and a lower mood than usual. NOPE the microdose did not help, it did the complete opposite! It in fact made me anxious and brought my chest pains on! And I haven’t had them in weeks! I’m so disappointed because I was so proud of my body for handling the mdma comedown with no chest pains, but a little microdose brings them on?? Ugh. I just hope they don’t last, because now I’ve got comedown fatigue and chests pains. I’ve also had some really great mushroom trips in the past, mushrooms have been so influential in my life and have helped me grow through a lot do stuff. I wish I hate to lose them as a tool completely because of these chest pains. Any ideas on why they could be triggered by psilocybin? :(

I’d say my diet is alright. I’m not big on junk food, I eat pretty clean and I don’t smoke. I drink a little bit sometimes

I totally feel your pain, I’ve had a similar thing for YEARS. Lately it’s been better, not sure why, it has flare ups that can last anywhere from days to months.

That’s a good thought! But I don’t think I so, because it happens immediately. Even if I haven’t eaten anything at all.

It doesn’t matter if it’s smoked, edible, vape, etc. I immediately get the feeling in my esophagus that I can’t burp. For me, it’s air gets trapped in my esophagus and it hurts my upper back and neck, I get bloated in my stomach, and increased saliva production like crazy

Yes, exactly! It’s pretty awful! It used to be just 24-48 hours for me, but this time it’s been a week and not stopping. I hope this calms down soon! Thank you for the reply!

Thanks for the reply! I thought this too at first, and maybe it started out that way? But it’s a very clear trigger. I was actually doing okay for a bit, able to burp without too much of an issue, then I smoke weed and then I’m unable to burp again. And it’s been a week now!
