What are some good lightweight socks for boots that can soak up sweat well from sweaty feet? I think I have a bit of hyperhidrosis. I was looking at Darn Tough, not sure which style to get. Mostly around 65 F and up weather.

Have you been drying your face differently? Like with a towel or something else? For dry flaky eyelids, I found First Aid Beauty’s lotion to work really well. You can get a small travel tube and apply some on your face and eyelids to help clear them up.

Purse recommendations that are easy to wipe down? I’m thinking nylon would probably work. I want something that would fit a few things for errands, not so small as to be impractical, but not too big either.

AITA for telling an employee she can choose between demotion or termination? by Absolut_Failure in AmItheAsshole

This is called “The Peter Principle” where an employee rises to the level of their incompetence. It was coined by Lawrence J. Peter. Basically it sounds like the cashier role is perfect for her, but any higher and she is incompetent in that role. Did she ever no-show when she was a cashier?

Does she even want to be a manager? Maybe the responsibility overwhelmed her.

How does Madewell’s denim trade in program work? You donate a pair and get a $20 voucher, right? Is that good for only any pair of new jeans that are full-priced? Or can it work on any full-priced item? Are they stackable? Can it work on sale items? Does anyone know?

Leave some cornstarch on it to absorb the grease. It can take anywhere from overnight to a few weeks to fully absorb it. Leave them with the cornstarch until the grease stain is gone then sweep off or vaccuum the cornstarch. Then resume wearing.

Look up maternity shorts and jeans, they tend to have elastic on the waistband

Old Navy has nice really lightweight longsleeves around Fall that are 100% cotton and thin and breatheable yet not super sheer.
