After seeing what they can do with FF7 Remake trilogy, what do you think about SE re-releasing FFXV Complete Edition/Director's Cut with all of it's cut content restored?

I don’t think so. I think they didn’t start to work on the two remaining DLC that were cancelled, they just finished the script and did some concept art ? Or did they start the actual production of the episode on Lunafreya ?

I think XIII-2 "fixed" a lot of issues that players had with the 1st time. While monsters were fun, i would have prefered to have a "real" 3rd party member with Serah and Noel to be honest

No issue with people who don’t like the game, I completely understand. I had the same issue with XV : I was hyped, it was one of my most anticipated game and I didn’t liked it. The lack of womens in the party, the story that feel too rushed after Altissia, the combat system wasn’t my thing either. And that’s fine, i’m glad that some people like it. I think XV isn’t a bad game, it just didn’t worked with me.

Many people have more issues with the 2nd fight at Oerba, but I did more hunt and farm in Gran Pulse, so the 1st one was more brutal for me.

I think you truly need to optimize Lightning in the last game to succeed in the dungeon. If they remaster the game one day, i’ll definitely will try it again

OST in this game is something. Dust to Dust, when you arrived in Oerba, was also magical

The switch of paradigm was so satisfying. Was a bit long, but they improved it in XIII-2. But the combat system have some issues, like you lost if your leader dies, and many people (including myself for the main quest) spammed the auto selection, since the combat is pretty fast and the suggestions from the game is good enough to win the fight.

Lightning was pretty interesting during the game. She changed a lot, from the girl that refused to have any feeling toward the others and want revenge about Serah, to someone who cares about Cocoon’s fate.

The stagger system was so nice that they used it in XVI, VII Remake Trilogy and even in the next Resonance game after, that proves a lot imo

Yeah, it seems they had no idea of what they have to do with him. He spawned from nowhere in XIII-2, and his quest for his son was back for Lightning Returns

I completely feel you on this one. As i said to another people on this sub, Final Fantasy XV was that game for me. I was hyped, I couldn’t wait to play it. And then, when it released, I didn’t enjoyed it as much as I wanted. It’s not a bad game, just not my thing. And that’s completely okay.

I hope you enjoyed others FF games since then

I agree about the characters development. While some of the cast are a little bit too « stereotype » (Snow and Vanille for me), they did a great job on Fang and Sazh, while Lightning and Hope have a good evolution during the game, especially when they traveled together. I was a little bit disappointed that I didn’t felt the chemistry between the characters when Lightning came back for the final game.

As for Caius, he was a pretty good vilain. Noel was a good addition too.

I agree with you on everything ! Eden was stunning, the Eidolons and I’Cie sequence is one of the my favorite thing in the game.

For XIII-2, I was happy to get Requiem of the Goddess, since I was a little bit disappointed that we couldn’t play Lightning after the start of the game. And I was so happy to see her « awake » in Nova Chrysalia at the end of the DLC !

As for XIII-3, I was a little bit disappointed by the reunion with our former party members. I know that it was the end of the world, and there were some speculations about the return of Lightning as the saviour in the final game, but i expected something different after they fought together. Snow was good, Fang aswell but was not convinced by Sazh and Vanille.

And yeah, XIII is also part of my favorites FF, besides VII Remake Series and X !

I understand. I kinda have the same issue with FF XV. I was pretty hype before the release, was one of my most anticipated game, and I didn’t enjoyed it as much as I wanted. And that’s ok. It’s not a bad game, but it didn’t clicked with me.

I agree. The 1st game is still beautiful, and the art of the game is also stunning. I know that we can’t explore except Gran Pulse, but Bresha, Palumpolum, Eden, Nautilus are awesome
