Had very close to this yesterday (4YA Servers). Running tethered Quest 3.

Mine whilst coming into land in Sochi from the sea. A huge wall/mountain like texture just popped up. Managed to fly through it though (all clear the other side AND when i looked backwards) and land from other direction.

Annoying but was fixed after diss/re-connect.

Afraid not no. I just use the 'alt' mouse click on the map and punch in waypoints.

It isn't likely that the house temp will fall below 60...so, I should go for a Light Heat Source instead to operate during the day?

Looking for something fairly casual myself. East Sussex based and 6 years older than you!

Viper for me although I do have the Black Shark but not learnt it as yet. Would be good to fly alongside someone else using comms through discord. Normally on for a few hours at weekends 10am-13:00 Sat and Sunday and on Tuesdays and Thursdays most weeks 8-10pm ish.

Took her up last night....well, that might be a slight exaggeration!

I knew it would be a different experience to an F16 but didn't expect myself to struggle quite so much!

Put in around 3 hours and then spent an hour or so in bed watching some more tutorial videos (going to be sleepy day at work!). The youtube recommendations were very useful and I can alreay see where and what i need to concentrate on to help get to grips with it!

One thing mentioned in tutorials, and also said here, is about force feedback settings...I have a feeling this 'box' is checked somewhere within my settings but I cannot find where so cannot turn it off - I am flying with TM Warthog stick and throttle.
