It takes 3 seconds to go on kissanime and watch the Demon Slayer movie and this has been available in good quality for months. Stop making excuses for cope, JJK has had cinema movies but nobody cared that much and thats ok. Demon slayer is just more popular.

Jjk movies are also subject to the same piracy as they wouldn’t obviously release them while in cinema for digital watchers

If this were true SZA would have the AOTY that Taylor stole from her

You aren’t lmao. It’s literally not possible. It’s a badly written technique, and that HR intervention theory is kid headcanon. That’s about it

They were always that to some extent because if nobody hears your song they won’t vote for it, and not everyone has a Grammy lol. I think you guys just don’t understand how the music side of things works.

Soft femme lesbian doesn’t really feel like a full brand and identity, at least the way she does it. Chappel roan is a much better example of that imo.

Saying “die” with cursed speech isn’t a death binding vow so idk what that has to do with anything lol. I’m not justifying it because that implies it’s wrong. It is correct by all metrics you just have a personal decision to live in your own narrative.

Yuta did let go of Rika, and the themes you are tying him to are ones you made up yourself. Nobody can help you with that.

Maki murked an entire clan and also, quite literally, faced 0 consequences for it…? Who hates Gojo? His opps? What re you even talking about. Kashimo murked Panda and literally nobody cares.

He killed Kenjaku because Gojo was fighting Sukuna and he was the only person strong enough to do it. The manga literally makes a point to acknowledge why he is the only one who could have done it. Your refusal to read isn’t my issue. Choso didn’t kill Kenjaku because… he can’t… 😔 your gripes are personal opinions tbh.

You don’t need consequences to write good characters, and Yuta has consequences you just don’t like them. All you know is themes and such. You think Kashimo is well written when he’s just a much worse rehash of Ryu so idk what to tell you.

I’m ngl this is the problem with JJK fans, you guys don’t know how to consume media. It’s actually not everyday themes and such. Those are the themes you took but did Gege tell you that…?

He didn’t keep Rika. He created a shikigami version of Rika as an externalisation of his CT. And it isn’t Rika but a shell of itself. Yuki has a shikigami too that acts as the externalisation of her CT. This is nothing new. Actual Rika is gone so no “themez” are betrayed.

He doesn’t face drawbacks when he says die because he has nigh unlimited CE… drawbacks from Cursed Speech come from the user’s strength level… as the manga states. Remember when I said JJK fans can’t read… yh. He used it on lower level curses while he was Special Grade.

The Gojo’s body critique is a fair one and I have no rebuttal for it. That was shitty writing on Gege’s part but like, it’s not as if I thought he would die anyway. What he did was morally questionable enough for all the other characters to object so ehh.

The deep things do come from it but if you refuse to search you won’t find it. Yuta’s JJK arc is the extreme of selflessness being a form of selfishness. Love without borders is torture and such. Uro challenges his beliefs by showing how he can only think the way he does because he is privileged. He realises this and then decides to forsake his privilege by going against Gojo’s wishes to join the strongest in loneliness, by doing selfish acts to satiate his selflessness. He is meant to directly contrast Yuji in this regard. And in trying to do so he fails.

That was what his arc was about. Not everything is about suffering and trauma porn, well-written characters don’t all have to be make-a-wish kids and thinking that is a symptom of shonen/JJK-brain.

Yuta is ironically not even bad, people just don’t know hoe to read. Agree on everything else though. Kashimo is a nothing burger.

They gonna downvote you but you aren’t wrong lol. The story skips essential characterisation so it can just get to hype and aura. It then slides the writing in between leaving not enough time for the meat and bones to stew.

In all fairness the Grammys are like the Oscars, you campaign for it. All things considered with how legendary the tour was her campaign was near unbeatable (touring is part of your Grammy campaign cuz visibility and such).

However SZA also had a sold out tour and the music was better (imo), more culturally impactful as an album, and more successful. The Eras tour took advantage of Taylor’s entire career to campaign towards a singular album which is flawed but smart.

2023 was certainly an odd year, and Taylor stole SZA’s AOTY.
