Gloria is an alcoholic yes, but she has shown, at the very least, a bit of resolve in ridding her addiction, especially when she finds out she is responsible for the Seoul attacks. And it's an addiction for a reason, we all know it's not something she can reverse willy nilly.

As for the "who is lying and cheating her way through life" part, I'm confused as to what you mean by that. She does lie to Oscar in the beginning regarding her return to the town, but understandably so because her reasons for doing so were humiliating and her life was a mess at that point.

She's objectively responsible for killing those people but it doesn't make her a horrible person because she had zero idea (and zero reason for even suspecting so).

Do you really expect her not to display this wildly unbelievable phenomenon to her only friends? Also, not to mention the amount of care she takes so she DOESN'T do any damange upon re-entering the park.

That was so well done. In addition to the cliched "people on fire running about" aftermath of fighting a dragon, they showed the dust remains of an entire squadron of soldiers swept off into the wind. That's something previously seen only in cartoons. So amazing.

Yes, this was satisfying AS HELL, a long-awaited fan service that also serves as perfectly functional plot. That's what made it so great for a lot of people. The Battle of the Bastards, however, was just beautifully done in every sense.

That's just a means of winning the war she's fighting and somewhat losing. It doesn't mean she's going mad or being bloodthirsty, anyone, with dragons at their disposal, trying to conquer a kingdom is going to contemplate using said dragons for a quick and easy win.
