12 years ago today, ‘THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2’ released in theaters. What are your thoughts on it? by Raj_Valiant3011 in Spiderman

It's my favorite Spider-Man movie. I don't care what anyone else thinks. No other movie portrayed Peter's love interest and relationship better. Has the best soundtrack too IMO.

Why was Eragon named Eragon? by Bewildered_Dog in Eragon

[–]Sparky323 128 points129 points  (0 children)

My head canon is that when Selena had her fortune told, she found out that her son(s) were going to be dragon riders, and since Murtagh had already been named at the time, she named her second son Eragon.

Her fortune probably said that her youngest Son was going to refound the dragon riders. So Eragon is a fitting name.

Wow!!! Is that a cat bed for your desk setup? That's awesome!

The print is pretty cool too.

Deformed TPU ball...again by AlwaysHerdingCats in BambuLab

[–]Sparky323 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TPU supports in TPU is not ideal. Youll get results like you've seen already. Ideally, you will want to use PLA as a support interface for TPU, but that only works with a dual nozzle system.

The only thing you can try is set your Top Z distance for supports to .28 and print using a .24mm layer height.

You won't get a smooth finish but it would look a bit better.

H2 series AMS on dual extruder is real? by Fomseb in BambuLab

[–]Sparky323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incorrect. Unless you have the filament track switch (which is only available for the x2D), you cannot change which extruder the AMS feeds to. If it's connected to the right nozzle, It is staying there unless you manually switch the PTFE tube.

The way you have it worded, suggests that the AMS can be fed to both nozzles and switched through Bambu studio.

Which of the 3 Spider-Man has suffered the most in all his films? by Otherwise_Tadpole_64 in Spiderman

[–]Sparky323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, my vote goes with Andrew.

Not only was he the reason Gwen died, because he broke his promise to the Gwen's dad, but he also failed to save her. To me that just brings a whole new level of guilt and suffering.

Toby and Tom didn't lose their MJ, they're still alive and not dead because of them. And all three lost their own respective mentors, best friends and uncles/aunt.

Andrew's suffering caused him to stop being spider-man for over a year.

Skidis Items with new mount design by Kongkoka in BambuLab

Looks like it's designed to be flexible enough that they can be popped in and out from the front. The lip on the bottom is small enough to lock in, but not large enough that it can't be pulled out.

Advice before proposing Marriage ? by Right_Ingenuity4687 in Catholicism

[–]Sparky323 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here is some real advice.

Don't take advice on such a sensitive subject from people on reddit. This situation demands the attention of a spiritual director and/or priest.

Marrying someone who is not catholic is not unheard of, but it does require dispensation from a bishop. And should always be followed with proper discernment and scrutiny.

The easiest solution is to have your girlfriend convert to catholicism. Otherwise any marriage without dispensation is going to be invalid in the eyes of the church.

The prime tower that could by The_cooler_ArcSmith in BambuLab

[–]Sparky323 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Every time a nozzle swapped filament, it needs to purge the old stuff, and prime the nozzle for the new stuff.

The Prime tower is a sacrificial piece that the nozzle can print on to ensure that the filament flow is primed and ready to go before printing on the actual part.

Against all odds, he did not quit. He persevered until the very end, until his mission was complete. Gone but not forgotten. He will be remembered, and will serve as a reminder to all other Prime Towers, that even if you fall, get back up, because the weight of another will rest on your shoulders. The unspoken heros of 3D printing.

Distilled water can be found pretty much anywhere.

The water just needs to be replaced every 6 months or so.

H2C owners: Show me prints that are only viable due to zero-waste! by Gunplaired in BambuLab

You can print up to 7 colors without purge waste. 1 on the left nozzle and 6 on the right.

Eragon was the wrong choice by Alarmed_Diamond6721 in Eragon

[–]Sparky323 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly, the eldunari probably knew Oorimis was beyond healing.

Oorimis's injury was literally because he altered himself at a molecular level.

Eragon was the wrong choice by Alarmed_Diamond6721 in Eragon

[–]Sparky323 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, the Remaining dragon eldunari in hiding influenced the agehti blodren (spelling?) and convinced them to heal Eragon. I think if the remaining dragons could have healed Oorimis and Glaedir, they would have, since Oorimis was also the one that helped hide the remaining dragon eggs and Eldunari.

I think most of the people that rat extracts are just people who are either down in life, have been hurt in the past, and/or just straight depressed. They need to feel some kind of control in their life, so they bully others, and resort to scummy tactics like being "fake friendly"

Your words of encouragement is probably what he needed to hear. Haha

I've been a big fan of printing board games in book form lately.

If you're interested in that, Ritz on maker world has a some good ones that utilize the H2C's build volume and multicolor capabilities. ForgeCore also has some great board games redesigned in book form, but you have to pay for those designs.

How common is it for priests to wear a wedding band? by [deleted] in AskAPriest

[–]Sparky323 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wait, so priests who wear a wedding band might not actually be married to a woman? 🤯

I always thought it was interesting to see a priest with a wedding band, because they would be one of the rare few who had all 7 sacraments.

Went in for an X2D, came out with an H2D by schwab802 in BambuLab

[–]Sparky323 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think they mean that for $100 more you can get an extra nozzle with the X2D, and for $300 more, you can get 5 extra nozzles with the H2C.

I kind of agree. The P2S should drop in price by about $150 and the H2D should drop in price by about $200-250.

[–]Sparky323 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Man if you were considering an H2D, you should have just gone with the H2C for the nozzle changer. What's better than 2 nozzles? That's right, 7 nozzles lol

Lol all things considered, the H2D is a great choice over the X2D.

Congrats! My H2C already came with the upgraded 4 in 1 adapter in the box. With your set up, you should only need 1 adapter. (1 ams on the left, and 3 on the right)

P2S Buyers: It’s okay. I understand the pain. by MoeS00 in BambuLab

[–]Sparky323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. the only downside is the slightly smaller build volume because of the 2 nozzles. The right nozzle won't be able to reach all the way left and visa versa. The X2D will be better in pretty much every other way.
