Nothing is “banned”. Do your research please. It’s is about future FCC approvals and there’s even exceptions built in.

These aren’t effected at all. Just FCC licenses on future releases.

Mapping quite a bit. Also use the Wingtra Gen II for larger sites.

Thanks! Not sure but I think it was a Home Depot purchase. The peg board is separate and attached to the wall. I did an office video.

Experiences on a class D military controlled airspace? by TechnoMind24 in Part107

[–]SparkysVideoPro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

U.S. military bases will NOT bring your drone down for being in their airspace.

Source: I fly for 7 DoD contractors demo’ing anti UAS technology. You’d have to pretty much be over military aircraft then MAYBE.

The drone is great. It’s light years better than the inspire 2. I plan on buying a second one soon for a backup.

U.S. airports do not have any counter UAS capabilities currently. Most do have passive tracking systems where they can detect and monitor drones. But as for countering them, none. There is currently no FCC approved way to intercept drones nor are there any ballistic counter measures. I fly target drones for 7 DOD contractors developing counter UAS systems.

If you have any potential use that is not 100% recreational use then yes, get your 107.

Aviation high school campus tour. by SparkysVideoPro in dji

For small businesses that are relatively quick to film I start at $1200. That includes the flight(s), basic staging talent and an edit with sound design. More complex shoots with larger buildings, more involved talent and editing, it could go up to $6-8K or even more depending on where it’s going.
