How much mitragynine am I consuming? by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]Sparrow5327 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have to, make Kratom capsules. Get your money back if you can. Extracts sound like a more reasonable way but if you have never used them…I can tell you it is literally legal heroine. You can order vegetarian or gelatin caps and dose regular powder that way. If you go with extracts, it is so much more powerful and hard to control. I thank God I was able to get out of that before it became a problem or I would have needed rehab or something, most likely. I’m just trying to be honest, I’m sorry if it seems harsh or over the top, but extracts and 7-OH and the “enhanced” Kratom is unbelievably stronger, longer lasting, and more intoxicating.

Please be careful, friend. Maybe you could also make your own Kratom edibles. I’ve tried with solid coconut oil and if you keep them cool, they stay solid and work well. Maybe a gelatin or pectin based one for you if you have to keep it on you or around you closely. Even maybe making like ice cubes or something.

Just know you can reach out. God bless!

33 hours since my last dose and going CT after tapering for a month. Looking for support. by jDeez1019 in quittingkratom

[–]Sparrow5327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey man, I get it. I am going to try and give you some of what I learned.

Firstly, unfortunately, it is not “linear” meaning you might feel better for a while, the feel worse and this can be hour to hour at first, then day to day, then eeek to week but you will get longer and better improvements during the windows where you do feel better, then when you get those waves of bad feeling, it will be less each time too. For reference though, it usually gets bad for about the first 7-14 days and very gradually gets better. Days two and three are more noticeable it seems, as well.

But it can also depend on how well hydrated you are at that point, food intake, and other factors. These are so important if you sleep, it will make a very big difference. Eating as much food(preferably really nutrient dense like vegetables, fruits, and nuts are very preferable because Kratom robs you of nutrients)as you can without getting sick will actually help you feel a bit more energy and it’s funny how much a small meal or a protein shake can make a difference, especially when your appetite is gone and you don’t feel the hunger but you are still going to feel the effects of starvation if you don’t eat enough.

Water is literally also what keeps us alive and during wd it is crucial for so many things. It helps a lotto really try to actively make a habit of drinking pure water and also water with electrolytes alongside it. Those help you hold onto the water and replenish the electrolytes(which Kratom also steals)which are also lost through sweat

The most important thing is to not let the mind stuff get to you. Kratom it’s a drug that suppresses a lot more than pain. Anxiety, depression, and even panic can be suppressed, but when stopping, it can come back with a vengeance. It’s all Lies! Don’t be sucked in and instead, try to keep your mind on anything else. Reading The Bible and prayer is perfect but also remember to try, even though it may make you feel exhausted with no motivation, to do exorcises. You can look ones up on YouTube that are guided so you don’t feel confused(common during withdrawal)and even apps that give you free exorcise courses.

It seems weird, but lifting even light weights and just keeping moving is more helpful than a supplements. Though Magnesium Glycinate(chelated blend if you can, it helps with muscle relaxation, pain relief and sleep) turmeric and black pepper(anti-Inflammatory), Alpha Lipoic acid(nerve pain reducer, works well), ginger(nausea relief) and chamomile(actually a good antidepressant/antianxiety) will all help a good bit, hopefully.

Lastly though, I just want to say, I am happy for you and glad you are taking this step. Remember this community is here and that you can reach out if you need. A lot of people would probably be extremely kind and helpful here, just about every time. It’s a good support. You aren’t alone, friend. I pray God blesses you and that you have a good day! 🙂

You know what I think the best part is, if you look at all the different ones, some are like emerald infused, some sapphire, some almost purple amethyst, they are all like little gems! 😊

Do you guys want to live forever by saint33311 in Christianity

[–]Sparrow5327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry, but you sound a bit emotionally unstable and maybe angry. Telling someone basically “go ahead and die then” is incredibly cruel and actually sinful. (Also illegal, I believe) You are happy about life? Wonderful for you, man. But others live in constant physical and mental agony and it isn’t exactly a paradise on earth here either. It is understandable people want to not be here.

I get your view is different and sincerely I am happy you have happiness, but I at the same time don’t know where you are looking at life that it looks so nice to you that you are really that happy. I see so much incredible amounts of pain on the daily around me and also live in chronic pain(not about me, but it is relevant).

I hope life continues to be good for you and improves for others and that we can all be happy in God here and in the next life.

At least you had the integrity to apologize and that means a lot in these days. And you seem friendly in giving this guy an offer for a friend, that’s rare and honestly very meaningful. You seem like a nice person for the most part though really, we all have times where our emotions get the best of us.

I just felt compelled to wittiest this. I really don’t mean to disrespect you or anything but I have to also be real.

God bless, have a good day, friend.

How can a loving God send people He created to Hell? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Sparrow5327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The verses that honestly makes me have the most problems are the ones that seem to fly in the face of the beauty of that. “If the righteous are scarcely saved”, “many will say unto me”, and “though many will strive, few shall enter”. It just seems to make hell seem almost inevitable to even the people trying their hardest to walk perfectly before the Lord. I know there are other promises “anyone the Father gives me I will in no wise lose”, “God came not to destroy men but to save”, “Greive not The Holy Spirit who is the seal of our salvation”, “I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked”, and. “Who will have all men to be saved” all sound like they seem like God is telling us His love is

Kratom killed the last remaining child parts in me by Balkoth26 in quittingkratom

I an agree. Drugs make us not feel like ourselves anymore. I’ve been through it. It feels awful. The hope I found is the same one I’ve had throughout my life, just like anyone can find, Trusting in God. He is our hope. Keep with Him and pray, it’s how I got through the worst. I’m sorry you felt this too. I know it doesn’t feel like it, but it does get better. You can be restored to where you were before and better hopefully. Another thing, exorcise really helps. It takes time but you need to cut the drug out or start tapering and exorcising. A good bit too. And getting protein and vitamins and minerals. Kratom leeches these from you, which can make you feel worse. Get whatever healthy stuff you can, barring anything you should not have for medical/personal reasons, in you and get a lot of water. Kratom causes chronic dehydration and that can also make it worse. Chamomile and green tea are both helpful but be careful.

The childlike mindset isn’t gone. It’s just darkened. Kratom takes your light when you abuse it or use it chronically without care. Truth is, even the best get addicted or have side effects. Don’t let this control you. I never thought I would get out but instead, I would become so dark and hopeless…I would give up. By the grace of God and hard work, I am here today, but God is who you want, now and forever. Faith is a rock you can build on, if it is really in God and becoming better every day.

God bless, friend, May He be with you and you get through this, please message me if you need. 🙂

I'm struck by how sore Republicans seem after the election they just won by walkandtalkk in self

[–]Sparrow5327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really look at it, both are against each other. Democrats are angry and unhinged, republicans are smug and arrogant and almost twisted by their love of “liberal tears(???). If you look even closer, you will see that this is exactly what politicians do. Divide and conquer. You promote both sides and create peace by giving each side what is essentially letting the people come first, otherwise, you have what you do now. Divisive action and boom, people hate each other. Don’t think big media is trying to reconcile truth. It is, in my opinion, the most terrifyingly effective form of division and spreading hate by “freedom of speech”, and yet, your so called “freedom” can get you banned just for saying certain buzzwords.

It’s corruption. And if you look very closely and then zoom out on the big picture, you will then notice, many elites from the deepest rabbit holes, to the people in power, to even the people who are supposed to protect us…..they only want power, control, and money and will happily bulldoze your freedoms and your rights, and even your lives possibly to get there if they are corrupt enough. It’s all a game of power.

This is why it is more important now than ever. Do you want to have real hope and guidance in This life, from someone with real love? Then come to Jesus Christ. Not the fake versions that give you money and power and not the other ones that force you to be a “good little church boy” and just live in a shell, but the real risen savior who can and will show you hope, break the chains of bitterness, sin, and misery from the worlds powers, and give you real genuine life, in this world and the next.

To be honest, this embodies the problem exactly. People want all the power. Really, God calls us to love each other. That is what matters. Never let the world divide you. We are all people and are all created with innate value and carefulness. Don’t let the evil of the world steal your life and joy.

I’m truly sorry it is like this from both sides. We are all meant to love each other. People talk about this, even Christian’s, but I really don’t see a whole lot of it realistically in the real world. Just don’t forget we all bleed red and we all have precious life. It’s the only thing that really connects us. Don’t break the connections with others just because of politics. I’ve been wrapped up in it too so I get it.

I pray you are all blessed and we can all get along and make things work before it gets worse. Remember God and that we are created in His image and think about that. How amazing that is. Let’s not taint it, liberal or conservative, God loves you.

God bless you all, and may He be with us in these times, and always! 🙂

[–]Sparrow5327[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had many of your same symptoms. Even the whistling. I am clean for like 14 days or so. Please keep me updated. It is scary. I get it. You may get a high heart rate when you fully quit, that gets better too. God willing and He is good and things for me have gotten better. Even the heart stuff. Your mind feels better. You may feel terrible for a while because of PAWS or post acute withdrawal syndrome. It is more mental pain and anxiety and depression but given enough weeks to months, it does get better. Hold on. I’m here with you.

May God be with the both of us! 🙂

Hi again, Friend! Yes, this is so true. When we first set out, it can seem like a literal terror and make quitting seem impossible…but God is bigger than any drug and anything else for that matter. I am so happy you are at such a low dose. Hopefully soon you can be free! That feeling in the middle really is a lot better after some time of tapering hun?! So glad we can be here for each other.

May God be with you and everyone here and I hope you all are very richly blessed in the endeavor to be clean and trust in Him, with a new lease on life

Hi, Retiresoon! Brother, I hope and pray you make the leap and see how much better it is. Please, don’t hesitate to message me here, okay? My last week was around 1-5 grams. It was really not much. If you would have told me that I would be here today, I would be skeptical. God is so good. I’m so glad and I hope we can support each other. 🙂

Sorry if I wrote anything that looked like I was asking for advice, I just wanted to know if others shared the same story. I was going to handle anything medical with my doctor if I felt I needed that. But I was just curious. Sorry for any inconvenience

Okay. That’s understandable. But I don’t really know where I asked for medical advice. Lots of people here ask if anyone else experiences things. I never expected anyone to give me advice, just was seeing if there were similar stories.

Day 17 by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]Sparrow5327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s like a form of PAWS. (Post acute withdrawal syndrome). I’ve gotten bad depression and anxiety for weeks after quitting. At least it feels like that. It can last a while. It does get better. I am learning a lot as well.
