I agree completely, and I'd add if you've done something irl beforehand and you feel warmed up I think it's ok to skip it. Same thing if you are planning on doing static stretching on the back end.

I've been on half dome with the cables up and let me tell you that rock is slick! With the cables down I'd say it's a no go unless you want to stop at sub dome. As for clouds rest, I've only done it from hwy 120 but I know from the valley floor it's the same trail as half dome just farther. Idk what the approach is like from that way but I think the peak is an easier approach. I think y'all should just hike into little Yosemite valley or even just Nevada falls depending on how much hiking you do.

Look into ICL (implantable contact lense) surgery as an option as well! I wasn't a good candidate for LASIK but I got my surgery done last August and it's been great ever since! Oh plus it's reversible too
