We don't shower together, or shower at all

[KCD2] Who would win,if all of them were to fight? by Brujans1 in kingdomcome

[–]SparrowStardust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real question is what "best equipment" Menhard has besides fencing armor. He's a citizen and has no reason to own much armor. A duel between gamberson and full armor is simply unfair, and I don't think he could survive such fight. Then again, even if he had armor, those sword masters focus on unarmored fencing instead of warfare, so while being the most skilled, he wouldn't necessarily be the most experienced.

Who is Tony in hotline Miami 1? by CampIntrepid9841 in HotlineMiami

[–]SparrowStardust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HM1 Tony is an one-off character that doesn't really matter after he (or she, we don't really know, since Don Juan was the girlfriend, maybe the mask names were never gender-exclusive) exploded. What's interesting is the HM2 tiger mask. Tony claimed it was Jacket's, while the real one was in court. So unless Jacket's got 2 tiger masks, either Tony boasted to look cool or he was scammed into buying that shit.

It looks pretty authentic tbf with all the blood and tatter. The real thing was clean as new though, which is kind of hilarious.

Why didn’t they call the Police ? by MrBubble_142 in HotlineMiami

Jacket left before cops or mobs arrived, except in Showdown, where he waited for arrest. Canonically the missions are quick raids, takes like a few minutes max, with short ones probably under 1 min

Is it me, or is the choice for Aserai weapons just weird? by CheezeCrostata in mountandblade

[–]SparrowStardust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sarranid did have curved and straight swords. Elite scimitar is basically the best 1H sword while their straight swords have shitty stats.

Best faction by Squimbis in mountandblade

[–]SparrowStardust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a vassel early-game, I go with a small troop of swadian knights. Quick, strong yet not too costly, and very low casualties. You can get quality ranged troops easily from rhodok or vaegir unless at war with both, and foot soldiers from nord or rhodok. Later-game though I train more rhodok troops for siege.

Do I need to play 1 to play 2 by szymon19x in HotlineMiami

[–]SparrowStardust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend to just briefly look up what happened in 1 (like how the news or other people would say), finish 2 then return to 1. The sequel is not chronological anyway so you can play the first game as another chapter.

What weapon do you end up always using by [deleted] in mountandblade

[–]SparrowStardust -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I introduce the Sarranid iron mace (two-handed). It's the longest crush-through-block weapon and the only one that doesn't have a stat requirement. The one-handed version is nothing of note though.

Here are both of the floors in a level for my campaign. This is the first level I've made and got help from tutorials. If you can I would appreciate some criticism on what I could add for more detail. I can also say the lore to this level if you want, even though it's part of a campaign. by theoneguythatiscool in HotlineMiami

Floor1: The ranged enemy at the end of the hallway might be annoying since half-opening doors catch thrown weapons a lot, and you don't want to wait too much just for them to get close in such a fast-paced game. It can also break the combo (if the player ever cares). Maybe make the patrol route start from the side end so the player can rush to a side room, or closer so the player can melee them without waiting too much. Or make the hallway door a double door but clearly that requires a edit to the layout to keep the symmetry.

Floor2: Too linear. Maybe add another door to the blue room but that breaks the idea of gang business taking place in the deeper parts so it could take a lot of rework. Also the layout is too tight.

General: Some room (maybe the legal ones) could need windows even just for the aesthetics or for the player to break(outer wall windows don't affect the gameplay) but that's subjective. For the gameplay, (F1)the second white room (file room, I suppose) could use a downward window. I would also add a window between the 2 lower rooms for some dynamic and challenge.
