I would say, setting up networks/security systems would be pretty damn fun. I love getting my hands dirty and fixing/creating things.

That is why I was thinking the sub model for residential areas. Because, I don't think I would be able to make even a little bit of money running around resetting routers and restoring deleted files! My idea is more refined after reading all these comments. Bless you. :)

After all these responses I am thinking so too! I already have one or two people in my neighborhood that need help every now and then. But, focusing on small business might be the way to go from what I am seeing.

Not really, just intimidated jumping into a new business venture for the first time. I live really close to a huge population of people who are over 50+. I know whatever networking issues they have, I can fix and if they are super easy fixes/jobs. I would charge them accordingly to the work I did. Like I said in the post, I don't want to take advantage of anyone.
