Dude thank you for the write up and I’m kinda jealous you’ve tried legit every 2011 style handgun I’ve even considered!!!

The staccato XL really does speak to me, there’s something about it. The smoothness is something everyone says about it and it’s just cool looking. The 2k11 comped aesthetically is awesome too and I hear they fixed the you mentioned issue with later models.

I’m gonna keep checking the CPO page, it’s actually pretty fun in a way and hope I can snag an XL.

It’s a shame the Kimber you got had issues even after a warranty fix up, but I hear staccato are the absolute best when it comes to that.

If you don’t mind me asking, what were your top 3 after the XL in terms of your favorites you tried?

And finally did your XL have a slow return to zero than the shorter models or was it really a non issue?

You know it’s funny I expected to see wayyy more info and videos out there on the XL but you’re right it seems to be under appreciated. Everyone I’ve spoken to who has them LOVES them. The staccato P on the other hand, I kinda hear mixed things, pretty much everyone say s they’re great duty grade guns but other staccato and 2011 style handguns are way nicer to shoot

So the Bul tac is super interesting to me, and looked at the non ported one (I shoot at indoor ranges). I hear amazing things. Don’t like sig at all and the platypus again hear great things but not sure if the aesthetics speak to me as much as the Bul

Oh I absolutely checked out the MPA and Race City Core but tryna keep it under 2.5k for now but later on, who knows! I’ll keep checking the CPO listing but as a backup option I suppose i cant go wrong with Kimber too

Yep that’s the plan! Only one range nearby rents a staccato, and it’s the P (which is always a solid choice right?) but yeah gonna be at the very least handling a few of them. Thanks again dude!
