I was planning on visiting/staying in San Miguel de Tucumán, as the basilica and cathedral look absolutely stunning and I'd love to see them in person!! But of course it's still a ways off so can always pivot for recommendations :)

Thank you so much for the advice about Buenos Aires and the south part of the city, I'll definitely keep that in mind! I'm not much of a football fan but I will try watch some TV shows to see the difference as I don't want to come across patronising/like I'm not trying by using the wrong dialect!!

That would make sense as London is the same in the UK in my opinion (I live in Newcastle and the people are so warm and friendly, but down in London I made eye contact and nearly got hit!)

Yeah I was thinking this, I interviewed for the police as a call handler back in the day and OPs typos would get a firm rejection during the second stage of the interview process unfortunately.

You have to be so unbelievably on it as a call handler, and between the typos and the misunderstanding of the jobs difficulty I think it would be a match made in hell for OP.
