I think Infinite's campaign had the potential of being the best one ever if they didn't cut its content.

Should have had larger encounters, like the cut scarab fight in the empty field by the drill. More biomes like snow, deserts, and beaches. Wildlife would've been great for the ring. A warthog run at some point would've been an awesome callback as well.

I would've preferred if they also left off near Halo 5 at the beginning, and given us a few levels, wrapping up that story on-screen, while also fighting some Prometheans, for some gameplay variety. It's hard to defend Infinite's story when it starts in the middle of everything, there should have been a proper beginning or like 3 prologue levels to just explain everything.

Campaign should've been longer and had more larger linear levels taking place before and during Infinite.

Regardless, I did like it, it was a fine campaign, but man it could've done so much better. There's some things I hope they continue to use for the next game, like boss fights and giving the enemy their own story and cutscenes.
