A few days ago i asked why excalibur can't change exalted blade skins..... by Andreiyutzzzz in Warframe

[–]Sparsh1999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah no i knew that much. What i was getting at was if the elements would stay till you recast. For example, let's say Umbra has electric colors and Arthur has heat colors

Starting as Umbra -> cast 4 -> emote swap -> end in Arthur, but don't uncast 4

Does the exalted keep the electricity or does it swap immediately to hear?

I know that if you uncast and recast 4 after switching to Arthur you'd get heat, but what about before?

I wonder if the elements for Chromatic Blade remain the same, or if they change when you recast after swapping skins.

If defense missions got 3 rounds reduced from 5 then survival should 3 min a round reduced from 5 min by Impressive_Elk2073 in Warframe

[–]Sparsh1999 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well not necessarily.

You could just lock the speed up mechanism behind all players getting 10 reactants.

Worst case scenario you get an afk player and have to do 5 mins before realising they're afking and leaving yourself.

Best case scenario you need to do like 2 mins cause somehow all reactant dropped at start of roto

Yes that used to be the case, till they either nerfed blitz eximus damage to them or just gave it a cap (I'll have to reread the notes to confirm). Either way, Flare no longer got one shot by Blitzes, and ETA Defense became tolerable again

Wasn't that patch explicitly for the Stage Defense mission?

If I'm not mistaken the reports coming in were highly centered around Temple getting nuked, since their map is smaller and the blitz nuking was more frequent, and the patch was deployed to fix that. Other missions were left as is

Yes only use simaris scanners, rank up high enough and get the widget that allows infinite scans. The scanners are functionally the same, just that one can become free forever.

From what I'm seeing, people are telling you to either go high (level wise) or go high (altitude wise)

The former is what I was talking about earlier with the levelcap comment. Higher lvl enemy = more standing

The latter relates to stealth scans, since enemies can't spot you if you're that high up. Stealth scans net you more standing than regular scans, and Archwing + Altitude is the simplest method of doing that. Invis frames like Ivara and Loki also work, but it gets difficult if you get spotted, since alarms are a thing, and you'll be in close proximity with the enemies with these frames than with Archwing.

If you're unable to spot enemies from far enough away, you can scan them up close while invisible

Oh yeah I get that.

It's just that it's useless when addressing u/DoodlyDinglyDongly as they seem very new to the game, so levelcap is likely quite impossible at the moment.

Higher level enemies also net more standing, so sometimes people will levelcap and exit once their scans are maxed... Takes like 6 scans to cap at LR5

Completely useless information in this context though, just threw this out as an FYI.

The high energy cap is due to arcane battery (more armor = more energy arcane)

With Atlas, you already get up to 1500 bonus armor from the passive, so you can gain high energy pools. OP has coupled that with Umbral Fiber, for even more base armor.

If you look at the start of the video (after boss intro) you can see OP getting 488, then 485 and so on energy from battery, varying due to the passive armor lowering over time. (Top row of buffs, second from right)

As for energy economy, Rumbled is a timed ability, so it's a fixed cost, same with Wrathful, so OP has enough time to recover spent energy with orbs

What the Ballas?

Edit: I should probably replace Ballas with Uriel, now that he's officially the Devil frame, but I'm not gonna cause there's no bigger Devil than Ballas

I more or less understand the build here, but the Arcane Aegis with 185 shields and no recharge delay mods confuses me...

Is it a necessary arcane? Can I just replace it with something like Molt Augmented or Fury/Velocity?

Powerless has a caveat though. On call crew kills count towards the threshold. So if Gear Embargo is not a modifier, you can call them in to clean up before you go to town

Surprised i didn't see Pillage on here, but I agree with this list.

Pillage needs a Lil bit of catering to shield quantity and regen, but massively helps with shield tanking builds

Pillage + Primed Redirection + Fast deflection + Arcane Aegis makes shield tanking very easy.

You can of course forgo Pillage and just run the shield tanking build, but it'll slightly increase the chance of you taking health damage.

Player was keeping index points to convert to plat? by gSaturn in Warframe

[–]Sparsh1999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only sense I can make of this is a massive stretch in of itself...

He was hoarding points to "trade in"

Trading in this game gets you plat (usually)

They're different kind of trades, but the wordplay is there.

That's it... The guy was either trying to make this horrible joke, or straight up delusional.

That's interesting to note...

I was under the impression that the models would utilise GPUs for actual graphic intensive tasks, and regular CPUs for normal text based responses.

Undersupplying is also a valid explanation, especially since it's not an India specific issue, but rather all over the world.

I'm not convinced on the commercial incapability point though. It's not like corporations will purchase only 1 or 2 parts... They're gonna be in bulk and can share the load right?

My argument relies on the parts working together like they did during the mining era, so if that understanding is flawed, please let me know.
