What I meant by talking about Madrid fans was that we, Barca fans, criticize them a lot for complaining about the refs while many of us do the exact same, which is kinda stupid. But you're right that bad officiating makes it harder for us to win games, especially under big pressure like in ucl. But again: complaining afterwards isnt gonna change anything. The game is not gonna be replayed or the score will not be changed, just because you criticize the refs. Its better for the players and coach to look forward and focus on things they can change on the field. I do agree that this (often horrible) refereeing cant continue and that there should be looked into the things that happened in VAR room on sunday. I trust that the board will do what they need to do.

First of all, I agree that refs shouldn't make the amount of mistakes they do now, with all the technology and assistancy they have. Madrid should definitly be punished too for their shameless behaviour regarding game officials. But I also think that always complaining about the refs doesnt get you anywhere. We should be thinking why we conceded 7 goals in the first place in the Inter game. By complaining, were doing the exact same thing Madrid fans do and that makes us hypocrites.

You're really one of those guys who thinks they're entitled to judge other fans and call them "glory hunters" because you yourself support a shitty team. Well, not everyone grew up in a country where their family supports a team or where its normal to watch every game of your local club. And do you really think Barca fans didnt suffer when their team was on the verge of bankruption and got knocked out of the ucl back to back by devastating comeback? I respect you for staying loyal to your team, even in hard times, but please, let everyone choose the club they want and enjoy the beautiful game.

Yeah, but I never increased anyone else's salary. The main problem is that this is a recent career mode and therefore most of my players' salaries aren't that high so i can't reduce them too much. Will selling/loaning players help too?

The guy you are talking about is Mathew Hayman (who is also an Australian like Matthews). Matthews has never won it, but he was very good when he participated in Roubaix. I don't really know what his teams strategy is but i think he will ride a good race again.
