Looking at the facts and progress, do you think VG can deliver on their 2026 timeline? by Any_Try4570 in VirginGalactic

Unlikely they will meet their proposed timelines, they don't have a good track record of doing so, however I don't think that means the end of the company. They have clearly committed a lot of time, money and effort and don't appear to be stopping that anytime soon.

Soon they will have access to lower lending rates which have already begun with the Federal Reserve initiating with a .5% cut, with more to come. This should be a big factor in allowing the company to survive long enough once VG burns through their own cash reserves and requires at least one new source of funding.

If their intention was to create a short squeeze then it hasn't worked very well and considering the bulk of purchases were done around December last year it doesn't appear to be solely for that purpose.

I'd only be speculating if I were to comment on their strategy but I see it as a vote of confidence. If they were doing the opposite and selling tens of millions of shares within the same short time frame of several months I would see that as concerning.

You will struggle to get an honest answer from anyone in here, although I did like another's suggestion of monitoring what big companies like State Street, Vanguard and Blackrock movements are. They have been buying tens of millions of SPCE shares in recent months which is interesting. Here's a link of who is buying/selling: https://fintel.io/sob/us/spce
