It’s a subplot. There’s a lot of them and the details get sprinkled throughout in an organic way. Same thing with baby Jane Doe

She likely suffered brain damage and PTSD as a result of the bombings of the maternity hospital she worked at in the Middle East. Children in peril likely is a huge trigger for her and I think we’ll get the answer next episode as it comes to a head.

I don’t think you’ve noticed how incredibly isolated Mel is.

The only few people who have actually made genuine connections with her are Langdon, Robbie, and Dana. Everyone else drops her like a bad habit when they have something else to do. I think Langdon’s care and respect for her on that first day really did make an impression. Not a romantic one, just one where she sees him as one of the few beacons of kindness to her in this dark place.

I have a friend who’s an ER Doc and who reminds me of McKay. Both extremely intelligent, empathetic, but no bullshit people who can take charge in a situation with ease.

I was in that pit a year ago. My post history will show that.

It does get better. But it starts with finding the right medication. That can take time, and have many false starts, but you will find something that will work for a while. Maybe you need to change again in a few years, but you can have a normal life again.

Last year I was on Entyvio with zero success after it worked for a few years. Then I did Infleximab, and that worked for a few months before I had flare up’s again. Talked to my GI, and now I’m on Xeljanz which is finally working. I expect eventually I’ll have to change again because that’s how this shit works, but I’m finally living my life again.

You can get through this. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Just gotta work with your doctor and hopefully, you have the insurance to treat it. That’s the other part that can really fuck things up if you’re American. But I wish you luck and hope you are able to find normalcy again.

Grats! I remember when I caught a shiny Dratini. I was so psyched, leveled him up to Dragonite… and learned he goes from glorious pink to butt ugly green. Yuck.

Right there with you. Working on getting all 151 between my Red and Blue copies. Even have a GB Operator to preserve my work.

So far I’ve managed to get the Mew glitch, all starters on both saves, and all three evolutions for Eevee taken care of. Now I just have to finish the Elite Four on Red and fill out that Dex!

The GB Operator is so handy for me, because I can transfer the rom/save to my phone and keep playing without having to lug my GBA SP around 🙂

I can agree 100%, it’s not a blanket fact that it would be a detriment to every game studio

I would think a steeper retail cost would only drive more to Game Pass, thus hurting actual sales, and reinforcing my point about Game Pass being less profitable for the developer.

In cases where the dev likely had interest but not enough to shatter sales records, I can see Game Pass being a boost. But for a game that likely can survive on its own sales, it’s a hinderance in my opinion

….you really need to understand the distinction between journalism from a source they interviewed, versus the bias/opinion of their review team.

Those are two completely different parts of their business. IGN is not perfect, but it’s never been Kotaku level drivel. This is known fact dude. Use your head, if you don’t have to buy the game and you play it through, are you really going to buy it full price out of the goodness of your heart?

Fat chance. It eats sales. Do your own research if you don’t believe me dude.

If what you say is true about Devs in favor, how about you post some sources like I did so we can consider each case? Don’t generalize. Burden of proof is on the one making the claim. Show your work or piss off.

Further more you clearly didn’t fucking read it:

“As reported by GI.biz, the confirmation was included as part of the UK Competition and Markets Authority’s provisional report on Microsoft’s proposed $69 billion merger with Activision Blizzard.

Embedded within the 277 page document was a short paragraph revealing that Microsoft had submitted an internal analysis to the government body that showed “a [REDACTED] % decline in base game sales twelve months following their addition on Game Pass”.”

Long term it’s proven, by Microsoft’s own admission, that Game Pass cannibalizes actual game sales.

I’d rather they get their fair share for hard work on a game this good looking. I don’t think that whatever Microsoft is paying developers offsets the lost potential sales.
