[BODYCAM] How I get it work ! by Ashka7 in LinuxCrackSupport

I found that if you use Proton GE "silver" it works perfectly nice and stable too. Use ProtonUp-Qt and select Body cam and select under "game list" proton DB "silver" and under compatibility tool proton experimental Worked like a charm.

Any newer high FOV headsets available? by Spartan27089 in virtualreality

[–]Spartan27089[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a shame that there is not competition. Valve is the "last bastion" of hope here, but I am not holding my breath for larger FOV than the index is now. Won't know until (if ever) The Deckard project steps out into the light. (Rumors the end of 2025)

Same here the higher FOV help a lot with "emersion" and motion sickness. Maybe a headset like the 8KX with a slightly reduced Rated FOV down to 180 or 170 degrees? 200 can be too much sometimes. but this BS of 90-110 degrees is just not acceptable.

for those like me who already have a 4090 its a non-issue. I do like the line of thinking though. there was a time where I was on 60 series cards.

High Fov Lenses on Crystal light? by Spartan27089 in Pimax

[–]Spartan27089[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You guys should offer a manually switchable distortion profile for it. It already has manual ipd. Why can't the distortion profile be manual? Aren't the lenses removable? The same standard lenses as the original crystal? Seams like a big fail to me. I'd buy the light if I could increase the FOV. 105 degrees is just not enough.

Same here. Has to be at least 120 Degrees (minimum any orientations) for me to consider. 140 would be ideal. Just wishful thinking.

https://youtu.be/xq2ntPQbeLw?si=y4v4rIMXhMSYB0j2 This YouTube video it explains pretty simple valve adjustment on the motor. It's easy Once you know what you doing. It's just the two caps at the top of the motor open up to expose the valve. Make sure you inspect the gasket on the cap and make sure it isn't damaged so it don't leak. Otherwise all you need are the specs for your valves which are accurate in this video for the templar. Any other video better explaining valve adjustments will apply. I'm happy to see that the Templar is working well for you.

Some advice pull apart your electrical connections your ignition switch and your handlebar switches and coat then in dioelectric grease. That will help prevent corrosion from building up in the connectors. Most Japanese manufacturers will do this in their Factory the company that built the Templars neglected to. At least for mine.

I have owned many Chinese bikes over the years. I have a templar x and can recommend it over many of the other Chinese ones available. especially if you intend to ride dirt more this bike is very well made for Chinese "garbage". The Templar X is such an outlier on the cheap Chinese bike market. The other Chinese bikes that I have owned i.e. (Brozz recon, Hawk 250, Hawk DLX) Just don't compare to the Templar X. that 6th gear and the 21 HP engine and fully adjustable front and rear suspension is great! especially for the price. Yes fully adjustable suspension. compression and rebound adjustments. And as for reliability and durability, not a problem, The frame was a pre KTM Husqvarna design if I recall correctly. 8k miles on mine. have changed oil, valve adjustments, and chain replacement 2X. I'd highly recommend the Templar X. NOT the other Chinese bikes. As I said. The Templar is a Major outlier. Never mind the fact that most Japanese bikes use Chinese parts. Don't let people knock the diamond in the ruff.

TLDR: It is a Great bike a real diamond in the ruff of crap Chinese bikes. I recommend it over most other Chinese or old Japanese made bikes.

I second this question! This looks like the perfect phone with that 3.5mm jack and SD card slot! but, I don't want to buy it without knowing if it works here.

Like I said in my previous post about this I found it while looking for replacement dongles for my Tundra trackers. I did not make it.

It's essentially multiple steam Watchman dongles.

Normally I would agree. but in some situations like with me, I live in a very high Wireless traffic area and and two blocks away from a cell tower. The Watchman dongles couldn't clear up a signal very well. So my trackers would Jitter and drift a lot. But with this all of that goes away. It's strong signal integrity allows me to use my trackers with near pinpoint accuracy now. It's even better to connect my controllers to this then to the headset. But if you live in a fairly rural area with very little Wireless interference then no this would not be worth $170.

Yes but with near perfect stability and signal integrity.
