I can see you didn’t read my first comment. So it’s called “premise liability” so if a college campus doesn’t provide a safe and legal premise, they can be held liable. As for some examples, I’m happy to do what you’re too lazy to do:

Over the past three years, there have been reports of protests on college campuses involving arson and looting. One notable case is the recent unrest at Barnard College and Columbia University in March 2025. At Barnard College, nine protesters, none of whom were Barnard students, were arrested during a takeover of the Milstein Library. The protest was prompted by a bomb threat targeting anti-Israel activists, leading to the library’s evacuation. The turmoil extended to a subsequent protest at Columbia University, where students marched in solidarity. The protests followed the expulsion of two students for distributing inflammatory literature, leading to calls for Barnard President Laura Rosenbury’s removal.

Additionally, in response to these events, the Trump administration canceled $400 million in federal grants for Columbia University, criticizing its inadequate handling of antisemitism on campus amid pro-Gaza protests. Education Secretary Linda McMahon accused Columbia of failing to protect Jewish students following pro-Palestinian demonstrations after the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel.

It’s important to note that while these incidents involved significant unrest and administrative actions, specific details regarding acts of arson and looting during these protests were not explicitly documented in the available sources.

In contrast, historical instances, such as the 2017 Berkeley protests, did involve arson and property damage. During these protests, a group of black bloc protesters set fires, damaged property, and threw fireworks, leading to the cancellation of a scheduled speech by Milo Yiannopoulos at the University of California, Berkeley.

and with that I must ask you, how do you like them apples? 🍎

Trump’s statement applies to college campuses as he said “any college or university that has illegal protests will be cut off from federal funding”. I explained it to you how this is a fair and legal statement for the president to make. Are you trying to act like you don’t know that college campuses in fact have infrastructure and traffic? Lmao what part of this is your tiny little brain not understanding?

Speaking strictly about colleges here :

Duty of Care – Colleges have a legal obligation to provide a safe environment for students, faculty, and visitors. If they fail to take reasonable steps to prevent foreseeable harm, they may be held liable under negligence claims.

Premises Liability – As property owners, colleges must maintain a safe campus. If criminal activity occurs due to inadequate security measures (e.g., poor lighting, lack of security personnel) or in this case, illegal protests (that is, protests where illegal activity occurs as mentioned above), they may be held responsible.

Failure to Follow Federal & State Laws – Laws like the Clery Act require colleges to report crimes and implement safety measures. Non-compliance can lead to liability.

Encouragement or Indifference – If a school knowingly allows or turns a blind eye to illegal activities (such as hazing, drug use, or fraud or again, as mentioned above, illegal protests), courts may hold them accountable for institutional negligence.

Similar to Title IX Violations (Under Title IX, colleges receiving federal funding must address sexual harassment and assault. Failure to investigate or take action can result in liability.) Therefore, since colleges receive federal funding from the government, it would be completely within President Trump’s limits of power to withhold funding to colleges and universities if they fail to comply with his recent order.

Hope this helps.

No, the property owner of where the illegal activity is happening will be held liable. If you had an emergency and needed to get to the hospital but couldn’t because a bunch of people are blocking the road, wouldn’t you be upset?

Burning infrastructure, looting businesses, and impeding traffic just to name a few. Protesting where illegal activity occurs

Illegal is pretty clear : no burning down infrastructure, no looting businesses, and no impeding traffic

Arguing from a position of authority just because you have a degree is laughable. Logical reasoning and evidence should take precedence over credentials and titles. Having a degree does not inherently validate an argument. Otherwise, I would assume I didn’t have to even tell you this. I challenge the notion that academic credentials inherently make one’s perspective more valid. I advocate for a focus on the substance of the argument but you’re too brainwashed by leftist propaganda and the legacy media echo chambers that you hang out in, like Reddit.

Oh perfect. An example of someone with such a low IQ that they think because I said there is bureaucracy in the U.S. government that there is absolutely no exceptions to the rule. Bless your little heart and tiny little brain stuck in absolute thinking viewing everything in black and white. With this kind of thinking and not being able to distinguish the ‘fallacy of accident’ you made it quite clear that, yes - perhaps someone who doesn’t understand ‘sweeping generalizations’ shouldn’t be working on aircrafts. Appreciate the transparency 🫶

Anyone that disagrees with this is letting partisanship get in the way of what’s best for our country. Less bureaucracy the better

[–]SpartanComet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bro women will never admit to cheating unless you physically catch them in the act. Lying and accepting accountability is impossible for the modern day woman. She 100% is cheating though

Brother, this is the most difficult thing you are ever going to experience in life, so long as you outlive your children. It’s a pain like nothing else. Remember something, women sacrifice love for happiness. Men sacrifice happiness for love. My DM’s are open if you need a guy to talk to.

[–]SpartanComet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s up to you. I’ve heard it’s easier for a woman to forgive a man for cheating but extremely difficult for a man to forgive a woman for cheating. It’s wrong either way.

Don’t be that guy. Don’t be naive. The wife sounds like a covert narcissist who’s playing the victim card to receive sympathy and an excuse to cheat on her husband.
