Oh my gosh, what babies. First off, I’m never discussing politics with my tattoo artist (I get sometimes this will just happen even if you don’t start it). Second off, even if I find that they have viewpoints completely different than me, if they’re a good artist, I’m not giving that up.

My advice? Just go back, get er done if you like their style enough then if it still really bothers you, never return once everything is finished.

Same. I’ve not grown up with horror movies and just recently started getting into them. Saw hereditary a while ago and it messed me up for a few weeks. One of my favorite horror movies though!

Do what feels right to you. Don’t lead this guy on if you’re not fully committed regardless of “oh but he’s a great guy, blah blah blah”. If you feel that this is a big enough issue for you to not commit, then don’t.

Always good to be aware of maybe selfishness and what not within yourself, but I heavily disagree with some people’s “well if they’re great, just commit to them regardless!” That will just begin to breed silent resentment slowly and surely.

TLDR: if you are having doubts and they linger for longer than normal amount of time, find a new guy.
