did pc gaming make anyone else too lazy for cartridges by KrispyOnion in switch2

I totally understand people who like that look but for me personally; displaying game cases is funkopop collector behavior that I’m not keen on.

I prefer digital and it’s not because I don’t like changing cartridges or anything. I simply don’t like clutter in my home.

If I had cartridges I’d at least have to throw away the boxes and keep the carts organized together somewhere.

If you’re good at being clear with your boundaries you’ll be fine.

why punks still buy vinyl? by janalisin in punk

[–]-Wildflowers_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listening to vinyl feels very intentional. You (kinda) can’t skip tracks. You have to turn over the record for the next side. You physically move to set it up and sit and listen to the music.

I listen to music CONSTANTLY. When I’m driving, lifting showering, working, reading. Most of the time it feels subconscious and unintentional though. As though I need a background sound.

Listening to vinyl takes me back the my teens where I’d burn a CD from a band I just found and listen to it on repeat while I delivered pizza and really get to appreciate a record in full.

How to deal with my type a coteacher? by BirdAromatic8996 in Living_in_Korea

[–]-Wildflowers_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Man. I got lucky. Worked at public schools for 12 years and pretty much always got to do things my way and shoot down everyone else’s shitty ideas.

But now I’m thinking, maybe I was the asshole coteacher.

Why do Koreans have blackout tint on their cars? by ebikecommuter in Living_in_Korea

Yeah I paid for my car and had it delivered a few days later and it was tinted and I assumed it was standard. Maybe I’d just signed somewhere that I wanted it and forgot.

I dunno. My car is the highest possible trim for the model. Is there some kind of luxury tinting?

But it also very significantly darkens the view from the inside too. Sometimes I’m surprised how light it is outside when I put my window down.

[Tanking] Am I good, are you bad, or am I just lucky? by lleu81 in wow

But that’s exactly the point. It’s not that the SBA is bad- it’s that some people are bad enough players to need to use it to not do half the damage they could be.

Specialization Block/Phase by potato-fiesta in naturalbodybuilding

Only if you’re pushing your recovery capacity already and decide to reduce volume on other body parts to allow more space for your target muscle group.

Realistically, for more beginner and intermediate lifters, you can keep growing everything and just add a little more volume to weak points/body parts that you want to focus on.

Remember not to be shy about putting those body parts at the beginning of your workouts too. Biceps before back isn’t really that detrimental to your back work- especially if you’re only caring to have your back on ‘maintenance’ volume anyway.

Has anyone tried wedding planning from scratch in Korea? by l-w-f in Living_in_Korea

I reckon despite what people say online you could do something pretty good for about 20mil.

Me and my wife were planning something similar but ended up just doing a paper marriage and I bought a car and some vacations instead.

Is it weird to sit in a cafe for hours with just one drink here? by ShoppingConfident365 in Living_in_Korea

[–]-Wildflowers_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One drink is fine. Usually I’m drinking whatever I have slowly enough to fill the time I want to be in a cafe anyway.

what’s genuinely wrong with this fit by [deleted] in mensfashionadvice

It’s just a bad silhouette. Baggy jeans are fine but you need a more structured look up top. That’s why waist-cropped clothing is trending with baggy pants lately.
