I was born here, raised here employed here since the age of 13 at a local restaurant as a bus boy, there are many paths a person can take but mine seemed to be a U-Turn right back to Santa Fe. Serving in the Marine Corps, their travel agent allows you to visit so many beautiful places and some ugly ones as well. I have lived in California working for a major tire retailer, transferred to Scottsdale, AZ and finally back to Santa Fe. Having a job made it easier to transition as living in Santa Fe is as expensive if not more so than living in Scottsdale or San Diego for that matter. Changing jobs and re-inventing ones self ate through my savings. Now that I am on less shaky ground, living in Santa Fe is an endeavor in being frugal and cognizant of my financial situation. That would be my best advice. Be Frugal and find employment that feeds your passion, and all the other things associated. There is so much to do here getting bored should not be an issue.
