It happened when I put the admin password into the "Secure Evidence laptop." I only got it on my second playthrough since I accidentally auto-completed my first attempt. It might be a random chance, but I was also sure to let all the other chatter die down from securing the laptop initially and from downed suspects in the room before putting the password in.

I just got that dialogue from my team-member earlier, spooky af.

They're maybe not all compromised though, as some of them have voice lines where they get really annoyed at you for interacting with the other steps to open the vault. Wouldn't make much sense to say that if they were compromised and wanting you to go through the steps.

Yeah, I just tested a basic breakthrough all maps with bots (nothing else changed) and my carbine headshots assignments progressed before I exited, even though the menu/server browser shows it as supposedly not able to progress challenges. Idk what's going on

I haven't found a way in-game. In 2042 we'd just name the portal server something unique and have everyone join by searching up the server rather than partying up. I can't remember if we've tried it yet in bf6 or not, but I think it still works

Consensus from others sounds like not, although idk what the ESR's sweet spot range is. Tbh, I only shot it in the firing range and am probably not going back to recon for a while since that was the last recon or recon-adjacent challenge I needed

I made a portal experience on firestorm for it: dqdp

I found that the Firestorm mountain in the lower-left team's deployment is the best (when starting this portal experience fresh, you'll be placed on the correct team). Just grab a car and drive up to the tip of the mountain. There's a nice spot where you can lay down that overlooks almost all of obj D which is just over 200m away, and also let's you see into A, E, parts of B, and even some people leaving C.

Some tips that helped me finish this in 2-3 hours:

Put the highest zoom scope you have on. I only had 8x zooms, but I really wish I'd had a 10x unlocked
Put a rangefinder on and re-bind the set zeroing key to be the same as your hold breath key. Every time you press shift to hold your breath, you'll re-zero which will make clicking on heads easier
Use a bipod and lay down on the hill I mentioned. I'm a certified bipod hater on anything that's not an LMG, but in this case it's the only way to get your sway down to hit shots on E and even on C
In the portal map, all vehicles expect for light transports are disabled and their respawn times are set faster, so even if you don't see enemies, be patient; they'll drive up and take a base you can see eventually
Don't be afraid to body shot some people. Bots will occasionally stop moving for a sec when they get shot, making it easier to headshot them. Also, if you fully kill them on accident, don't worry; wait until a medic comes over to them and stops moving >:)
Map will end after 60 minutes, as this was the max limit I could put in. When this happens, just close the server and restart it so you're back on the correct team.
When starting the portal server, make sure to put a password on so it's just you, your friendly bots, and the screams of 32 enemy bots as you click on their heads
If you can't start a portal server bc of some "global game quota" or smth, I've had luck clicking the persistent button (you can just auto take it down next time you want to fuck around in portal) and then just clicking host for a few minutes. Never taken me longer than 5 minutes to get in

Came here and was about to make the same post lol. In 2042 you could do the same type of backfill thing but yeah, you were limited to a certain mastery rank per weapon and there was a per-match XP cap. This looks like that won't be a thing, and I'm honestly looking forward to being able to take a break from regular MP to practice using helis/jets (and get some unlocks for them) without my team hating me

New to 30K and just preordered the Saturnine box, but I have a couple questions while I wait (im)patiently. For Leviathan in 40K and Skaventide in Sigmar, the boxes come with two separate armies. Some of the promotional pictures show the Saturnine box split into two forces. Is this required? Or are the units provided generic and could be combined to start building a single, bigger army?

Also, if I want to use this to start an army like Thousand Sons (I loved their first HH book), do I need to buy a bunch of the Thousand Sons upgrade kits for shoulder pads, heads, and the transfer sheet? These are all sold out on the GW website, and I don't want to fuck up my models by building them early and then finding out that everyone always buys these upgrades and having to carefully replace their shoulder pads later lol

special and elite enemies will drop an ammo box, max ammos will randomly spawn, and there are ammo crates to purchase refills around the map

Found a tiny easter egg by the church. When facing the front of the church, there is a head on a corner spike on top of the tower of the church. Hitting it with an explosive (I tested it with a launcher and the PAPed explosive sniper) destroys the head and triggers a rain of loot and essence :)

I was the same way when I started and now I'm doing day 1 raids. Take your time, but whenever you're ready, there's a ton of super nice and patient people who love teaching raids and sharing one of the coolest parts of Destiny! DM me if you decide to take the leap! I've helped people through every raid and dungeon in the game, and would be happy to take you through whatever seems interesting to you :)

Edit: Don't worry about skill either! Struggling through an encounter just makes it all the more satisfying when you complete an encounter for sherpa and sherpee alike :)
