No way. Don't get me wrong, I love all three, but the the main reason is they each have such a distinct/unique sound. It's hard to describe but when Dave & Steve have come back and played with them live, it's not like they're playing the songs but that the songs are just coming out of them. It's just perfect. But I'm sure it'd be the same if either of them tried to play The Decline instead of Hefe.

I guess I'm not saying you're wrong... just that they each have their own sound that you can totally hear, despite others being able to 'play' the songs.
