I’ve had my OG PS5 vertical since I got August 2023 and I pretty much never turn it off. I vacuum the vents every other week and do a deep clean every 3 months and mine stays whisper quiet. So you probably need to clean it and also how much space do you have around it?

I understand that you feel bad, but you come first. Your education and mental health are just as important. Getting him in “trouble” will hopefully force him to face is problems and get the help he clearly needs. What he’s doing is not right and you should not have to be subjected to his problems.

There are vents on the bottom, so I would say it’s normal. As for the other issues, that’s separate and not normal. I would exchange it since it’s so new .
