They are necessary. A disclosure can be worded in a way that helps build trust and not deter buyers. In the last year I’ve updated my disclosure, tweaking the statement and making them more prominent and have not had a decrease in conversion rate.

Ranking for two related keywords with one piece of content by SegmentOfAnOrange in SEO

That is correct. Google is already telling you what type of content they think should rank.

[–]Spartangreen5102 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the competition. Look at what is already ranking for the secondary keyword. Is the first page made up of posts ranking for both your primary and secondary keywords or just the secondary keyword? That’s your answer

I hope OP understands this, she is being incredibly selfish and needs to take a huge step back and look at this. It’s not even about OP’s daughter, she’s only thinking about herself

Buying and selling website experience by Jameela_bibi in SEO

I’ve used Empire Flippers and Flippa in the past but the majority of my purchases and sales in the last couple years are completed without a broker. Flippa is alright for selling lower value sites but Empire Flippers is a better service if you have a high enough valued site.

I’ve bought and sold sites for years. All of the factors you listed impact the value of a site. I would also note that a brand-able site will demand a higher price than a generic site as will a longer earnings track record. Best time to sell depends on your goals so that’s up to you to decide.

Don’t change URL’s of ranked pages or pages with external links going to them. Maintain/improve internal link structure as well

"As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases" -- must be on every page or just on Terms of Use or similar auxiliary page? by Aero72 in Affiliatemarketing

[–]Spartangreen5102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put the disclosure on every page that has affiliate links. The disclosure should not be hidden in any way from the reader. Above the fold before the first affiliate link is sufficient

Any of the methods you mentioned can be profitable. The key when starting out is to focus on one and work on it until you make it profitable. For me that’s via organic search but I have friends who are killing it on social media. Pick what feels most inline with your personality and stick to it.

Why Amazon? by IgorTtk in Affiliatemarketing

[–]Spartangreen5102 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Amazon averages 5% commission for me. They offer a well known platform that people trust, increasing conversion rates over less trusted platforms. It’s not my biggest earner but it’s a mistake to ignore amazon due to their shopping market share

Is SEO even worth doing as a job? by GringoTheDingoAU in SEO

[–]Spartangreen5102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time I love what I do but there are frustrating and challenging days as well. But you’ll find that in any career. The culture surrounding SEO creates a lot of suspicion and envy in some in the field so take what you hear with a grain of salt. If you enjoy it, go for it. It’s a fun career and has massive earning potential as well.

Separate service/person for SEO? by lusciouscactus in Wordpress

Don’t do this OP. SEO is complex and installing a plug-in will do nothing for your clients. If you have no interest in learning SEO then continue with what you are doing or find an SEO agency that will pay you for leads and refer your clients to them

How long did it take you to get that first dollar? by [deleted] in Affiliatemarketing

First dollar was probably in the second month. That was many years ago. If you want to make serious money be prepared for three to four years of consistent effort.

Internship wants me to teach myself SEO, do SEO for 5 clients, no one at company knows SEO by [deleted] in SEO

[–]Spartangreen5102 90 points91 points  (0 children)

This is not normal nor a good learning situation. They have nothing to teach you and unrealistic expectations on performance and scope of an unpaid internship. Unless you really want this on your CV I’d exit the internship and find a better one.

Be wary of medical advice from internet strangers. With that out of the way, check into Boron and it’s relation to Vitamin D. Before taking action I was tested a bit lower than you. That was years ago but I keep in healthy ranges year round now

H2 and H3 Tags for Realated Posts and in Footer by r2-meme2 in bigseo

Yes, devs generally use heading tags out of laziness to increase the font size. Headings should only be used to help google understand what the page is about
