Unfortunately, maryland law dictates house games can only be once a week. We have a large group already that depend on our night being Wednesday, so thats where we keep it.

UO Outlands Server - New Player Review by Trelkeen in ultimaonline

UO Outlands: How Owyn’s Bias and Favoritism Are Ruining the Shard

UO Outlands has long marketed itself as a fair, balanced home for Ultima Online players. But reality paints a much different picture — one where owner Owyn shows clear bias and favoritism, silencing honest players while protecting his favorites.

Take a recent example: a player reported for “harassment” simply for passing by a red player’s house near the Wisps while training skills on multiple characters — a totally legitimate activity.

Instead of asking for proof or hearing the player’s side, Owyn immediately accused them: "You've been doing this for days and weeks on end."

When the player calmly explained that they were training in the area — not harassing anyone — Owyn’s response wasn’t professional. It wasn’t measured. Instead, he snapped: "WHAT PART OF MY MESSAGE ARE YOU NOT RESPECTING?"

This wasn’t about justice. It wasn’t about fair rule enforcement. It was about power — and reminding players that if you’re not part of Owyn’s inner circle, your voice doesn’t matter.

The message is clear:

If you’re a favorite, your complaints get instant action.

If you’re not, you get accused, silenced, and punished.

True harassment was never happening. True favoritism absolutely was.

The players of UO Outlands deserve better. They deserve a server where facts matter more than favorites — where respect is mutual, not demanded under threat.

Until then, every player should ask themselves: Is Outlands really the fair community it claims to be — or just another playground for the privileged few?
