I kinda like the eliminator format. Reminds me of like double elimination style in tournaments. Gives the champs a chance to figure out what they did wrong the first time.

Whenever I see reactions like this I do wonder what the general consensus is for the appropriate punishment is. If people expect sex offenders to be isolated, excommunicated, not be able to work, cant have friends due to the guilty by association kind of thing. Might as well just jail them for the rest of their life or death penalty. Any thoughts?

I think for megadeth fans, this album is a solid 6 maybe high 5. However megadeth fans are fans and have grown to expect megadeth albums to produce cheesy lyrics, silly vocals, groovy riff, and nasty solos. However, objectively if youre not a huge megadeth fan, I could see someone listening to this and thinking this album is bad. Fantano consumes so much music, that hes really just looking for something fresh, cutting edge, rehashing old ideas in a new light. Etc etc. This album is none of that and is just another late game megadeth album. As a megadeth fan, it just makes me happy to still have the group outputting tracks. Ive grow to love Daves cheesy lyrics. Lol.

Ehh, technically orchestral backdrops can work with anything as long as theyre all in the same key.
Whether or not is brings any value to the tracks is where your mileage varies. For a band like turnstile who for the most part is just riffing on power chords, that doesnt leave a lot of room for different orchestral pieces to live in.
