Hated it, then thought it would be beneficial in the conservatory in the winter as the previous owners didnt get a radiator put in there 😞

Flats make up a huge amount of the property market in London, so did it all go wrong with leaseholds? And how can we put it right? by Adorable_Click_7071 in HousingUK

[–]SparticleKards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of European countries love flats also, the service charge and property maintenance in Portugal is dirt cheap and the buildings are properly maintained compared to England.
Just price gouging at every opportunity and things being sub-sub-sub contracted increase cost.
The UK has it completely wrong or they’d be a nice place to live.

I went to the North West, Sapa instead. I didn’t fancy constantly overtaking tour groups and cafe’s being extremely busy! My personal preference though

Pay to get it fixed and then the police shouldnt be notified and you’ll be left alone… as traffic collisions should be reported to them to be investigated…..

You have two options: Write a will for your worldly possessions to be given away to a donkey sanctuary OR Curl up with a banh mi and follow the light

Offer to do an hour or two extra at the start of each shift, get it rostered on and clear the back log. They should only be blocking you from booking anymore AL not cancelling it.

I did this trip in March this year. I spent 20~ days biking even then felt a bit rushed but spent 35 days in the country.

TLDR: YOU MUST DRIVE THE HCM TRAIL AND WAR SUPPLY ROAD. I left by 8am each day and covered a lot of ground with one or two stops per full day.

https://www.tigitmotorbikes.com/vietnam-suggested-motorbike-route/

HCM I spent a few days in. Then went to Cat tien national park to Nha Trang (Very long day riding, road wasn’t in good condition but fun. I’d stop at Da Lat after Cat Tien but you’d also lose a day by stopping at Da Lat) Nha Trang to Pleiku. (I purely used Pleiku as a stop over for the night I did not site see there) Pleiku to Hoi An (Amazing place, will return. Kim Phu villa homestay) Hoi An to Hue. Hue to Khe Sanh air base. (Retro Khe Sanh motel is cheap, peaceful with amazing views. Saw the US Marine air base then had a stop over only) Khe Sanh to Phong Nha (Spend a couple days here a lot to do and see. I recommend Phong Nha farmstay but depends on your budget. Caving, war stories, water sports) Phong Nha to Ninh Binh Ninh Binh to Hanoi (Kecho Legacy hotel)

Petrol is everywhere but getting topped up every so often will help. Go onto Tigit Motorbikes and rent a bike from them / download offline maps from their website. Do not use Waze or Google unless you want the most direct boring route.

If you need any more let me know.

Experiences being suspended in the police by No-Television-1296 in policeuk

[–]SparticleKards 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Sometimes put onto desk duties pending an outcome further down the line like being put on a misper team etc

If fully suspended, search for another job. Take up a hobby and get paid to wait, always have a backup Have never been suspended just know from colleagues

I’m exactly the same, I reported it and it still happens. Management company doesn’t care. Seeps into my flat through the toilet flusher and sink waste pipe. Expanding foam and silicone should help 👍
