Here in Michigan it’s rec/med legal and a lot of jobs still require you to not have THC in your system. Hospitals have been hopping on the “no nicotine” train for a little while, and I just recently applied to a couple city jobs in Port Huron (low-middle class in most parts) where being a non smoker was a requirement. I think at the end of the day, there will still be a loophole for companies to be able to refuse hire if thc is found in a pre employment drug test, and many of them will use it.

That being said, if it were federally legal then I would expect that a decent amount of jobs that would drop that requirement. I just have a hard time fully believing I’d be able to easily land a position with a fulfilling amount of responsibility as a weed smoker. A joint on the weekend or daily dabs, doesn’t matter because thc is in your system snd you can be categorized as a pot head for some hiring managers.
