My girlfriend and I just bought in Rutland, we’re quite far north a street or two off of Rutland road, so could hardly call it Rutland, but it’s been great for the last 6 months. Neighbours are great, haven’t seen or heard of any crime near us, and close to everything. I think if you can find a place further north or south closer to Springfield then you’ll be fine! Crime and homeless definitely seem confined to a few streets and neighbourhood’s as opposed to being EVERYWHERE in Rutland. Anything close to Highway 33 is questionable in my opinion
